Role Overview:
The Infrastructure Manager is tasked with ensuring high quality planning and designing of foundations, building structures & overseeing site work and associated civil & structural engineering activities for a wide variety of projects across multiple locations.

Main Activities:

  1. Work with design manager to establish high quality infrastructure engineering systems detailing procedures, methodologies & guidelines for ensuring effective estimation & management of project costs.
  2. Develop working templates to establish client needs, conducting site surveys, cost estimation, tendering, evaluation & allocation of work to sub-contractors and contractors.
  3. Creating guidelines for value engineering and performing risk management for sites and structures to help onsite teams deliver high quality infrastructure solutions that meet regulatory and HSE requirements.

English - Fluent / Excellent
Arabic - Very Good

Job Skills:

Skills & Experience:

  1. 15+ years’ experience in construction industry (GCC experience is an advantage) with 2-3 years in a managerial role within a medium to large Project Management Company.
  2. Degree educated with a relevant degree (Civil/ Structural Engineering or equivalent).
  3. Fluent English speaking/ writing (Arabic is an advantage).
  4. Cost management & control techniques as well as the techniques (value engineering).
  5. Proven people management skills.

The Role
• 15 years’ demonstrable experience, of which 10 years as Project Manager & Design Infrastructure projects similar GCC country, at least 5 years in Qatar (Engineering Consultancy Firms, PMC Firms, or Governmental Clients Side). • Must be able to provide engineering services required for the design of any Infrastructure Projects tasks. Requirements

Senior Project Director (Construction) - Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Project Director to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of large-scale infrastructure construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of multiple construction programs, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The portfolio may include transportation networks, drainage and utilities, tunneling works, public realm developments, and other major civil infrastructure works.

What You Will Be Doing:
  1. Lead and manage the execution of a portfolio of complex construction projects from mobilization to final handover.

Job Description:

Senior Project Director ( Construction) - Infrastructure

Doha, Qatar

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Project Director to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of large-scale infrastructure construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of multiple construction programs, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The portfolio may include transportation networks, drainage and utilities, tunneling works, public realm developments, and other major civil infrastructure works.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead and manage the execution of a portfolio of complex construction projects from mobilization to final handover.

• Establish project governance, reporting, and control systems to ensure effective monitoring of schedule, cost, quality, and safety.

• Direct and coordinate the work of project managers, resident engineers, and site teams to ensure consistent delivery performance.

• Maintain proactive communication and engagement with clients, authorities, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

• Drive construction progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies at portfolio level.

• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements and industry best practices.

• Oversee contract administration, claims management, and change control processes.

• Contribute to strategic planning and business development through market insights and client relationship building.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from a recognized Western institution (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 20+ years of professional experience in infrastructure construction management, with significant experience at program or portfolio level.

• Proven track record in successfully delivering multi-billion-dollar construction programs, including roads, drainage, utilities, tunneling, and major civil works.

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of international construction standards, contracts (FIDIC or equivalent), and Gulf-region regulations.

Demonstrated leadership in managing large multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments.
