Job Description: Senior Project Director (Construction) - Infrastructure
We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Project Director to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of large-scale infrastructure construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of multiple construction programs, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The portfolio may include transportation networks, drainage and utilities, tunneling works, public realm developments, and other major civil infrastructure works.
What You Will Be Doing:
Lead and manage the execution of a portfolio of complex construction projects from mobilization to final handover.
Establish project governance, reporting, and control systems to ensure effective monitoring of schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
Direct and coordinate the work of project managers, resident engineers, and site teams to ensure consistent delivery performance.
Maintain proactive communication and engagement with clients, authorities, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
Drive construction progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies at portfolio level.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements and industry best practices.
Oversee contract administration, claims management, and change control processes.
Contribute to strategic planning and business development through market insights and client relationship building.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from a recognized Western institution (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 20+ years of professional experience in infrastructure construction management, with significant experience at program or portfolio level.
