Job Description
3. Rapidly produce multiple possible approaches for usability testing, A/B testing and stakeholder presentations.
4. Update and maintain course learning material, student engagement strategies, assessments, practice activities, feedback and knowledge checks result in student attainment of skills, proficiencies and competencies.
5. Identify resource needs (staff, independent contractors) necessary to efficiently meet instructional design objectives.
6. Collaborate with Digital Learning Research & Assessment Specialist and Assessment Developers in designing and implementing the evidence-based assessment frameworks.
7. Develop and revise curricular material, including competency statements, learning objectives and other relevant documentation/artifacts.
8. Ensure course development and other projects offering is completed on time, within budget and meets current and emerging best practices, standards and rubrics of quality.
9. Support in the implementation and updates of DLOE strategic plan.
10. Partner with faculty to provide consultation, guidance and/or support in emerging and existing programs and follow-up on technology use by faculty members.
11. Place content in the Learning Management System (LMS) in a manner consistent with approved templates and formats under prescribed deadlines.
12. Participate in research projects to advance learning science and quality improvement for student learning experience. Collects and documents all the necessary data for reporting purposes.
13. Perform other tasks and duties that may be occasionally required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the University.
14. Address copyright concerns and ADA compliance issues.
15. Ensure confidentiality of information at all times.
Demonstration of Abilities:
1. Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with staff, organizational members and external bodies, as needed.
2. Manage complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating on multiple projects concurrently.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum:
- Bachelor degree in instructional design, educational technology or closely related field.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in instructional design or closely related field.
- Certificate/diploma in the areas of instructional, curriculum and/or web design, Quality Matters or OLC certificate.
- Practical knowledge of information architecture, content strategy and UI design is a plus.
- Certificate/diploma in the areas of immersive education
