JOB PURPOSE:

The
Analyst
in the
Strategy Office
will be responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic initiatives across the organization. The role holder will conduct in-depth data and market analysis, develop compelling presentations for senior leadership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance. The endeavor will directly inform business planning, performance tracking, and decision-making at the highest levels of our organization.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Develop concise and visually appealing presentations tailored to senior management, summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Conduct thorough market research to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Use analytical and other techniques to perform data analysis and draw insights from available information.
• Translate complex data findings into clear, concise presentations for senior leadership.
• Automate recurring data processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Ensuring that data analysis is performed to a high standard.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in a customer-facing analytical role in cyber security (e.g. Network Forensics Analyst, Threat Intelligence Analyst).
• Experience with project management.
• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish fluently in order to work in this client-facing role.

• 7 years of experience evaluating forensic reports of electronic media, packet capture, log data, malware triage, or enterprise-level information security operations.
• Experience with CTI methodologies and application within cyber security organizations.
• Experience in the consumption, processing, and analysis of tactical Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) within an operational environment, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
• Experience with standard network logging formats, network management systems and network security monitoring systems, and security information and event management.

You will also acts as a conduit to Mandiant's extensive network of cyber security, threat intelligence, and information operations professionals. This is an onsite, client-facing position.

• Evaluate tools and best practices for tracking advanced threats, their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), attacker motivations, and industry and attacker trends.
• Perform strategic, tactical, and operational research and analysis of adversarial cyber threats.
• Correlate intelligence to develop understandings of tracked threat activity.
• Present tactical and strategic intelligence about threat groups, the methodologies they use, and the motivations behind their activity, and convey the importance of findings to a variety of audiences.
• Work with customers to determine their intelligence needs and requirements and prepare and deliver briefings and reports to the customers' executives, security team, and fellow analysts.

Role Overview

We are hiring a
Cross-Border Trade Intelligence Analyst
to support our research on strategic corridors, customs modernization, and institutional resilience. This role will work at the intersection of trade intelligence, policy frameworks, and regional logistics planning—helping us decode complex dynamics shaping the trade environment in the Middle East and Horn of Africa.

The ideal candidate is skilled in synthesizing technical information, monitoring evolving trade architecture, and building narratives that support reform-minded institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor trade dynamics and logistics chokepoints affecting major cross-border corridors (e.g., GCC–Africa routes, Red Sea axis)

• Analyze the impact of customs protocols, harmonization efforts, and transport regulations across border crossings

• Compile strategic briefing notes on port privatization trends, intergovernmental trade cooperation, and new logistics hubs

• Support design of knowledge products such as resilience dashboards, policy snapshots, and reform trackers

• Coordinate interviews and feedback loops with institutional stakeholders (customs authorities, trade facilitation units, etc.)

• Assist in benchmarking national logistics policies against regional best practices

Qualifications

• Academic background in Trade Policy, International Relations, or Transport Economics

• 2–4 years of research experience in cross-border trade, public-sector modernization, or development consulting

• Strong writing and synthesis skills; experience preparing knowledge outputs for government or DFI audiences

• Familiarity with GCC and East African trade routes, regulatory harmonization, or transport sector reforms is desirable

• Ability to navigate both technical datasets and institutional documentation

Eight years (8) years of experience in a business environment with specific exposure to Business Processes and Data Analysis relating to Project Management required, preferably in the oil and gas industry
Must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations
Experience in statistical and data mining techniques (Data Mining, Cleaning and Munging) to mind and analyze data from company databases, ERP and other legacy data sources/systems to drive optimization techniques and business strategies
Experience in Data Visualization, dashboard and Reporting using Data Visualization Tools such as (Power PI, Tableau, SAS, Python, etc) with experience using web services and cloud tools
Knowledge of Master data object definitions and models would be an advantage
Knowledge in Business Process Analysis, Modelling, Optimizing and Workflow automation
Experience in business process analysis, modelling, notation, process improvement methodologies, optimization strategies and statistical process control
Experience in documentation and diagramming approaches used to describe typical business components including entity relationship diagrams, process diagrams, and workflow diagrams
Good exposure to Project Management principles and practices
Thorough understanding of Business Process management and ability to plan/conduct study and document the results
Expert proficiency in using MS Office suite applications, MS SharePoint and Power BI
