Job Description
Youffy Health & Nursing Care Center is Hiring Now for Internal Medicine Specialist.
**Purpose**: To identify and immediately manage serious and life-threatening situations.
**Job Summary**: The incumbent will contribute to the company by taking responsibility to stabilize and treat patients who are experiencing acute health problems or traumatic injuries.
**Main Responsibilities & Tasks**
- Assess patients that enter the medical center with internal medicine consultation and emergency room immediately and oversee emergency patient’s recovery.
- Refer the appropriate request for medical tests, which might include checking vital signs, Patient consultation, blood tests, Urinalyses and Imaging tests like X-rays, MRI, CT scans, ultrasounds etc.
- Executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition.
- Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration.
Develop effective patient care plans
Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the patient’s condition.
Refers patients to medical specialist or other practitioner for specialized treatment.
Ensure that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation
Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.
- Attend medical consultation and Emergency calls to patients unable to visit the clinic or injured employees at the Mwani Worksite.
Use tech equipment and tools to stabilize patients or provide immediate treatment.
- Perform Medical fitness test to work.
Provide appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health.
- Reports deaths, and outbreak of contagious diseases to MOPH or governmental authorities.
**Other Task**: Job descriptions are written to reflect major accountabilities and will not describe all the tasks which may be performed by an individual. The incumbent shall perform any additional related duties assigned by the respective line manager to meet operational requirements.
**Minimum Required Qualifications, Certificates & Skills**:
Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) and valid license to practice the profession. Specialized on internal medicine.
5 years of proven experience as a physician with valid MOPH licensing.
Certificate of completion of recognized ILS course Advance Life Support:
Making decisions quickly and being able to tolerate risk.
Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
Excellent teamwork skills
