JOB DESCRIPTION:

Contributes and facilitate the Implementation of enterprise-wide architecture and processes that ensures that the strategic application of change is embedded in the management of the organization, ensuring buy-in of all stakeholders. Facilitate analysis of compliance between business strategies, enterprise transformation activities and technology directions, setting strategies, policies, standards, practices and KPI activities. • May have a postgraduate qualification such as an MSc, MBA, or other appropriate business, engineering, scientific or industry qualification.
• Architecture qualification like TOGAF/ Zachman is mandatory.
• Qualification on project management methodologies like PMP from PMI, Prince2 from BCS is desirable.

Knowledge and/or Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in communicating with stakeholders at all levels, singly and in groups.
• Experience with the systems development lifecycle and typical problems associated with the implementation and operation of information systems and has an appreciation of both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Minimum of 5–7 years of QA/QC experience in fit-out projects, with hands-on knowledge of FF&E, furniture, joinery, and marble works.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Valid GCC Driving License is required.

Job Purpose Summary

The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for managing and overseeing the bank's IT enterprise architecture across both development and production environments. This role involves re-engineering existing and new IT systems to optimize performance, adopting the latest design standards and technologies, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The incumbent will also define and implement enterprise and cloud architecture strategies, integrate solutions, and ensure compliance with IT governance, risk, and security policies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Financial

• Provide comprehensive, cost-effective IT architecture solutions that align with business needs.
• Collaborate with the Head of Enterprise Architecture to ensure architectural recommendations support the Group's strategy.
• Evaluate technology investments and recommend platforms that balance cost, scalability, and efficiency.

Customer (Internal & External)

• Engage with business managers and project owners to capture requirements and design suitable IT solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal departments, business units, and vendors to support IT and business objectives.
• Provide accurate information to auditors and compliance teams as needed.

Processes, Products & Regulatory

• Implement enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF) to drive digital transformation.
• Develop and maintain logical enterprise information architecture for seamless interoperability of banking systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in
  Computer Science, IT, or a related field
