Flawless Project Delivery (FDP) - LEAD

Our client is a global engineering specialist solutions provider, with 14,500 employees operating in 30 countries worldwide. They have provided Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services, Construction, and Technical Support Services (TSS) to clients in the energy and resources sectors for more than 90 years. They are currently looking for Flawless Project Delivery (FPD) Lead to be based in Qatar.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate implementation of FPD (Flawless Project Delivery) programme in the organisation.
* Participate in FPD workshops.
* Participate in Quality Rounds to ensure that all activities in the Quality Assurance Plans, with special focus on Tightness, Cleanliness, Inspection and Testing and Operability and Maintainability etc. are executed successfully and on time during the Construction and Commissioning Phases

The requirements for the roles are as follows:
* Bachelors of Science in Engineering or equivalent
* Over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
* Experience with quality systems
* Experience in project management processes and controls

• Description : Responsibilities:
  
  
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the completion of active projects, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  
  
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  
  
  • Act as the central point of communication among departments (construction, procurement, finance, legal, etc.), streamlining interdepartmental coordination and escalating unresolved issues as needed.
  
  
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  
  
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of project handover documentation, approvals, and close-out processes.
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with Ashghal’s requirements, contractual obligations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
  
  
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, transparent progress reports to the Projects Oversight Committee, participating in bi-weekly reviews and supporting key decision-making.

  • Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
  
  
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, contractual obligations, safety standards, and quality assurance.

We are looking for a Pipeline Delivery Lead for one of our clients with the following details:

Contract Duration: 36 Months

Location: Doha Qatar

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum 8 years diversified oil and gas operations experience, out of which 5 years spent for clad pipes & bends manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of CRA pipes and bends design, manufacturing and testing.
• A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in MS Office & understanding of manufacturing scheduling software's.
• Excellent Planning, Execution & Tracking Skills
• Excellent communication / written skills and ability to work with different disciplines and people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
• High awareness of safe working practices associated with CRA pipes design, manufacturing and testing.

Activities:

• Understanding & familiarity of the Project scope and the technical, quality & safety requirements including the applicable regulations, the Project specific Design Basis and philosophies.
• Ensures full implementation of Project requirements and control deliverables in terms of engineering, quality, schedule & HSE related to the CRA pipes and bends.
• Collaborate across disciplines (including Engineering, Installation, pre commissioning, commissioning, Quality, HSE Procurement and Planning, etc) to discuss & resolve technical and contractual issues.
• Drives to obtain all necessary input required for the timely and complete progress of all activities from design, manufacturing, testing, deliveries, pre-commissioning & commissioning. Manage the plate mills, bends suppliers and Pipe Mills to ensure that all procedures are available, approved and implemented across the manufacturing and testing activities.
• Manage kick-off meetings & pre-Inspection meetings - ensuring they are completed as required & to start manufacturing activities.
• Full understanding of the challenges associated to the CRA pipes and bends manufacturing scope including design, plate manufacturing, induction bending, qualification, welding, testing, inspections, handling, preservation.
• Track Supplier manufacturing schedule & shall be familiar with the pre-requisite & durations of the specific and critical activities. Identify any risks & provide preventive or mitigation actions to ensure contractual deliveries and technical requirements are met.
• Close follow up of the interfaces between Company, EPC Contractor and CRA pipes Suppliers. Any risk of delay and/or non conformance shall be immediately reported to the Head of Pipeline/Cable Delivery and mitigations measures shall be proposed.
• Monitors material acquisition including requisitioning, fabrication, testing and transportation of CRA pipes and bends.
• Liaise as required with Company's Technical Authorities (TA) and committees, and coordinate any management of change process (MOC) relating to CRA pipes and bends.
