Perform and be involved in inspecting and troubleshooting plumbing systems, implementing preventive maintenance measures, and collaborating with other departments to address plumbing-related needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and water supply lines.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.Ensure all plumbing fixtures in guest rooms and public areas are in excellent working condition.
- Install various plumbing fixtures and systems, ensure that all installations comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and develop effective solutions to resolve them promptly.
- Monitor and maintain water quality in fountains, and water features to ensuring proper filtration, chemical treatment, and disinfection.
- Conduct routine maintenance of water fountains, and water features which includes cleaning, replacing components, and addressing issues related to water quality, flow, and lighting.
- Regularly inspect plumbing, drainage, and sewage systems, troubleshoot plumbing problems, and perform necessary repairs or replacements of damaged components. Service and maintain water tanks and pumps. To make sure riser and other area water lines are free from the leakage.
- Ensure that all plumbing work follows local building codes and regulations to ensure that plumbing systems meet safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Inspect and maintain water tank systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. Identify and repair leaks, blockage, or other plumbing issues within the system.
- Monitor and operate all equipment in the pump room, including pumps, valves, and control systems, to ensure a consistent and reliable water supply.
- Install and maintain pressure regulators to control water pressure within the system. Ensure that water pressure is appropriate for the specific applications and fixtures served.
- Implement water conservation solutions to reduce water consumption, including the installation of water-saving fixtures and systems that promote environmental sustainability.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and follows health and safety guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain water quality standards, including chemical treatment, filtration, and disinfection to ensure that water is safe and complies with health and safety regulations.
- The operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pump rooms and associated equipment to ensure the efficient and uninterrupted supply of water throughout the property.
- Ensure to follow PPE and safety procedures.

Creates and updates CAD drawings and other technical information as directed by the CE Functional/Operations Manager. Principal Accountabilities

Minimum Qualification:
Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a reputable university.
Experience:
Should have worked for a minimum of 20 years in the capacity of senior engineer level in the relevant field and should have worked for major projects of substation & transmission systems (132kV/220kV/400kV systems) involving design, inspection, erection and commissioning & testing of GIS, circuit breakers, overhead transmission lines, transformers and all auxiliary systems of substation etc.
In the above projects, he should have carried out / prepared preliminary studies, tender documents, contract procedures, technical specifications, bid evaluation.
Must be fully conversant / referred all relevant international standards and shall have working experience in IEC & ISO 9000 systems.
Scope:
1. Site Investigation & Preliminary Studies
2. Preparation of tender documents, contract procedures, technical specification, evaluation of bids.
3. Will be responsible to establish and maintain documented procedures to control and verify the design submitted by the contractor or the design produced by the consultants themselves.
4. Responsible for design including description, calculation, layouts, protection & control but not limited to the following works.
i. GIS (400 kV, 220 kV,132 kV, 66 kV,33 kV).
ii. Switchyards, Circuit Breakers, Isolators, CT, VTs, capacitor banks etc.
iii. Switchgear (33 kV & 11 kV - Vacuum & SF6).
iv. Transformer station
v. Load calculations
vi. System study
vii. Other auxiliary associated equipment in the substations (LVAC Distribution Boards, etc.).
5. design and development or design review activities.
6. Formal documented review of the contractor's proposal/design should be conducted.
7. All design changes and modifications are identified and documented and all these changes subject to KAHRAMAA's approval.
8. Will be responsible for tender document preparation, setting the specifications that meet the requirements of the client, preparation of B.O.Q and evaluation of Bids. All the above works will be under supervision of the client.
9. Periodically site visits in order to check the design implemented according to approved documentation.
