We are seeking a Sustainability Social Media Specialist (Bilingual) to create and manage engaging content across multiple platforms, inspire audiences, and amplify our mission. We're looking for someone fluent in Arabic and English, experienced in managing social media platforms, skilled with basic to intermediate design tools, familiar with AI tools that enhance efficiency, and strong in writing and storytelling. Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Content Creation:
Develop and design creative and visually appealing graphics, videos, and written content tailored for different social media platforms. - Platform Relations & Industry Updates:
Build and maintain relationships with representatives from key local and regional social media news platforms. - Creative and Trend-Driven Content Development:
Research and analyze trends in the sustainability and climate change sectors to create timely and relevant content. - Influencer and Blogger Outreach:
Develop strong relationships with bloggers, influencers, and digital content creators within the sustainability, environmental, and construction sectors. - Campaign Management:
Plan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns, ensuring all campaigns are aligned with GORD's overall marketing strategy. - Event Coverage:
Lead the social media strategy and live coverage for GORD events, including real-time updates, event highlights, interviews and engaging stories across all platforms. - Social Media Analysis & Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns and organic content using social media analytics tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a B2B or research-oriented environment.
- Bilingual proficiency (English & Arabic) is mandatory, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms.
- Proven ability to create engaging and creative content in various formats (text, image, video, and GIF).
- Knowledge of social media management tools and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of sustainability and environmental topics is a plus.

- Collate all information into a Bookies Board and communicate with onshore coordinators to ensure readiness of execution.
- To implement necessary actions to guarantee objectives are achieved.
- To assist Offshore Installation Manager with comprehensive and detailed execution plan for each R&S campaign, align with OIM on the site priority
- Provide daily reports to and via the NOC OC Campaign & Shutdown coordinator
- Manage contractor resources to ensure safe and reliable delivery of activities
- Contribute to the development of the level 4 plans to maintain critical path
- HSE :

Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants.
- Advanced skills and knowledge of campaign/shutdown management techniques, preferably in the petrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas exploration and / or production industries.
- Awareness / basic use of planning software tools i.e. Primavera P6, MS Project.
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills required.
- Solid leadership skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplined and multi-cultural environment.
- Fluent in English (listening, writing and speaking) and its technical vocabulary.
