As the Project Programmer , you assist the Requirements and Optimization (R&O) team in using inspection and estimate data to program new engineering projects. Have strong technical background on civil construction projects, infrastructure and master planning. Ability to communicate between various stakeholders and ensure project requirements are adequately captured. Will utilize RSMeans software to estimate project costs, and TRIRIGA to organize and coordinate work orders.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Use work orders, inspection data and asset management tools to program projects for various engineering project.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, different bed down agencies and squadrons to ensure future project cover their requirements.
• Work closely with the Community Planner and Flight Commander to build out Integrated Priority Lists as well as assist on work order management.
• Assist engineers in preparing cost estimates and make adjustments based on funding capabilities.
• Coordinate work with Airfield Management to ensure all runway and taxiway projects are phased according to flying requirements and future work.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• B.S. in Engineering, Architecture, Master Planning or Construction Management
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience, supporting base Engineering operations.
• Knowledge of principles of engineering, planning, project programming, and ability to interpret plans and drawings.
• Experience in management and supervision of an engineering, maintenance and inspection staff.

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred

The Field/Site Controls Engineer & Programmer joins our Controls team in Doha, Qatar, supporting operational technology (OT) programming in Siemens PLCs specifically for Material Handling Systems (MHS) and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS). This field-based role also includes the design, implementation, and maintenance of these systems, along with on-site commissioning, servicing, and response to system breakdowns across regional projects.

Work Responsibilities

• Complete control system setup, pre-commissioning, and commissioning tasks, including startingand running checks.
• Troubleshoot systems (reading and analyzing control logic, controller configuration, field wiringcheck and verification, etc.) & perform relevant root cause analysis at the site.
• Creation of the required technical documentation, including red mark up of drawings, updatingthe code to match the field requirements with comments etc.
• Possess the capacity to learn new things as needed to complete projects and stay current withnew systems and technology.
• Understand client requirements including quality targets and implications on method of performing activities.
