What you will be doing.Washing, peeling and preparing food to specification.
Unloading supplies and organising the storage of food.
Checking expiry dates and rotating stock.
Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens and dishes.

Job Description

1. Assists the operation manager with administration and daily shopfloor operations.

2. In charge of operations in the absence of the manager.

3. Monitors events and event reservations closely.

4. Monitors staff attendance, grooming & training.

5. Plans, organises, and develops the food and beverage services in hospitality operations, ensuring customer expectations, food and hygiene standards, and budgetary targets are met.

6. Manages food and beverage provision for functions and events.

7. Supervises catering and waiting staff at functions.

8. Plans menus in consultation with chefs.

9. Trains permanent and casual staff.

10. Organises, leads, and motivates the catering team.

11. Plans staff shifts and rosters.

12. Ensures health and safety regulations are strictly observed.

13. Handles budgeting and establishes financial targets and forecasts.

14. Monitors the quality of products and services provided.

15. Maintains financial, administrative records, and food safety as mandated by QF Hospitality Services.

16. Interacts with customers to ensure satisfaction.

17. Liaises with suppliers and clients.

18. Coordinates customer feedback, assesses requirements, and ensures service satisfaction.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's in hotel management or equivalent from a reputed university with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role at a reputed catering company or 5-star hotel .

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Strong organisational and time management skills with high initiative.

4. Ability to manage in a diverse environment focusing on client and customer service. Strong leadership and motivation skills, including building strong relationships with customers and staff.

5. Stamina and ability to work under stress, think quickly, solve problems on the spot, and stay calm in crises.

6. Knowledge of food, food hygiene (including HACCP & ISO 22000 ), and food preparation.

Mandatory Training

Fire Warden Training
Certified First Aider Training
Minimum food safety level 4 certification
ISO 22000 certified internal auditor
Minimum HACCP level 4 certification

Special Requirements

Arab native female candidate.
Qatar driving license required.
