Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Care & Preparation

• Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiograms, angioplasty, and device implantation.
• Administer medications under physician orders, including sedatives and anticoagulants.
• Operate and monitor specialized Cath Lab equipment (hemodynamic monitors, contrast injectors, defibrillators).
• Monitor patient’s cardiac rhythm, oxygen saturation, and hemodynamic status throughout the procedure.

• Adhere to infection prevention and control guidelines.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and use protective equipment.

5. Teamwork & Communication

• Work collaboratively with cardiologists, radiology technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in Cath Lab on-call rotation for emergency procedures.
