As a Lead Engineer - Fleet Management, you will also be responsible for:
- Upholding BH's product integrity by proactively identifying customer issues, investigating technical anomalies, providing technical assessments at both component as well as systems levels, and communicating BH technical solutions to customers. Specific responsibilities include.
- Responding to internal and external customer requests for technical issue resolution, using technical product knowledge and analytical skills while adhering to sound engineering principles, standards, practices, procedures. Escalate issues as required, acting as the liaison between field and design engineering to drive specific technical resolution and to help engineering identify, drive corrective actions.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers to make customer technical issues/requirements understood and addressed in a timely manner.
- Leading and program manage root cause analysis/investigation activities for product technical issues. Interface with Product Service, System and Design Engineering teams, providing technical leadership to personnel supporting project assigned to resolve customer technical issue.
- Preparing technical presentations for BH Leaders and Customers ensuring the timely communication of significant issues or developments.
- Travelling to customer locations as required
- Supporting customer technical review meetings and present recommendations to champion BH's commitment technical solution
- Supporting unplanned/forced outages to meet reliability/availability goals
- Providing commercial teams with technical support for sales and services proposal activities.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical /Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Electronics) OR equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of experience in design engineering, operation, maintenance & troubleshooting
- Main experience in Reciprocating compressor & pumps and Accessory systems
- Strong working knowledge of Reciprocating compressor & pumps and Accessory systems.
- Ready to travel on short notice 20 to 25% of the time.
- Availability to work during weekends for emergency technical support.

- Ensure compliance with project specifications and piping codes/standards (ASME B31.3, API, ASTM, etc.).
- Conduct pipe routing studies and develop preliminary layouts for feasibility and optimization.
- Interface with process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams for integrated design.
- Review and approve vendor drawings, piping component specifications, and related technical documents.
- Participate in 3D model reviews (30%, 60%, 90%) to ensure constructability and maintainability.
- Support procurement activities by providing technical evaluations and clarifications.
- Understand project lifecycle from FEED to Detailed Design and EPC stages.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience in piping design for oil & gas, petrochemical, or related industries
- Previous experience in an engineering consultancy preferred
- Proficient in 3D modelling software (PDMS/E3D, SP3D) and stress analysis tools (Caesar II)
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM)
- Familiarity with P&IDs, piping layouts, and material specifications
