Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced ICSS Lead Engineer to support a major offshore oil and gas development project. This role covers both greenfield and brownfield scopes and will involve coordination across multiple international engineering and fabrication locations. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in the delivery of Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) throughout the lifecycle of a large-scale offshore project.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to HSE policies and actively promote safety standards within the team.
Deliver engineering documentation with robust ICSS design suitable for procurement, fabrication, installation, and operation.
Lead ICSS-related engineering activities from detailed design through to final documentation.
Provide technical oversight and support to a small team of ICSS engineers.
Review and approve discipline documents, ensuring timely resolution of issues and potential non-conformances.
Challenge design assumptions to deliver optimised, fit-for-purpose outcomes.
Participate in technical studies such as HAZOP, SIL, and constructability reviews.
