We are looking for a self-motivated Legal Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the office and effective case management. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness
- Handle communication with clients, witnesses, etc.
- Support and attend trials administratively
- Prepare case briefs and summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimony
- Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research
- Locate and develop case-relevant information

Requirements
- Proven experience as Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary

- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in English
- Working knowledge of case management software
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Legal Assistant certification or diploma
- Bilingual in Arabic and English only
- Local with NOC only

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage litigation and arbitration proceedings.

- Identify legal risks and proactively propose strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure legal risks are integrated into the company's enterprise risk management framework.

- Develop and maintain a legal document repository for group-wide use.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) required; Master's degree or legal specialization (e.g., LLM, MBA with legal focus) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of legal experience, with at least 3-5 years in the GCC.
- Prior in-house experience with a group holding company or multinational organization is highly preferred.
- Experience in sectors such as real estate, hospitality or investment management is advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to align legal strategies with business objectives.
