Overview

We are currently looking for dynamic, and self-motivated Recreation professionals who want to move their careers forward.

As a Fitness Yoga and Pilates Instructor you are responsible for safe, professional, effective and quality functioning of fitness Yoga and Pilates programs carried out for hotel guests and leisure club members, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Organize and supervise regular fitness Yoga and Pilates related activities and events to maximize members enjoyment / use of fitness centre and to keep ahead with our competition
• Develop and maintain professionally safe and effective fitnessYoga and Pilates procedures, programs and activities in the fitness centre and ensure proper fitness practice at all times
• Co-ordinate the aerobics / exercise program and studio usage and continually seek ways of introducing new ideas to maximize revenues
• Develop and supervise the children’s activities: e.g. fit kids
• Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of the fitness centre ensuring clear standards are always met and equipment is always in good working order
• Understand the club facilities, membership fees and coaching / massage / aerobic fees, etc.
• Aware of the rules and regulations of the club and how to deal with guest applications on memberships and their process
• Understand the entire club policies in each designated area and be aware of how to operate micros computer system for the billing of all services
• Assist the Recreation Manager to achieve membership targets through ‘Bodylines Marketing Plan’.

• To provide a safe, secured, courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Hotel Standards of Performance.

• A mandatory presence near the pool. Moreover, If and when the life saver needs to leave his work area he should first do the following “
• Always insure that the pool remains under the supervision of qualified and/or authorised personnel.
• Inform the Fitness Manager or Fitness Instructor
• When on the hotel ground always reflect a professional image including complete uniform as per hotel standard.
• All movements at the pools must be registered in a logbook.
• To provide swimming lessons, if requested (subject to superior’s approval).

• To ensure that the hygienic condition of the pool is respected by everyone.
• To remain physically fit and refresh continuously life saving techniques as per job requirements the life saver will be required to perform specific exercises as per established scheduled training.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
To watch over members in the swimming pool and ensure that prompt rescue and life-saving procedures are carried out when necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lifeguard is responsible for the safety of all swimmers.
2. Lifeguard should be prepared to perform lifesaving procedures at any given situation.
3. Lifeguard should ensure and prepare all equipment including checking all areas around the swimming pool (water balance, temperature, etc.) before and after the opening hours.
4. Lifeguard should be in control and never engage in any situation (long conversation, reading, etc.) that would lead to distraction.
