We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. or Higher Diploma/Diploma in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university. Maritime, Marine Logistics, offshore, and Port Operations certifications are advantageous.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of offshore capital projects logistics management and coordination experience.
- Strong team building, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to supervise a multi-cultural workforce.
- Good IT and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate offshore and subsea logistics planning, control, and management for various offshore projects.
- Act as a liaison between project teams, departments, stakeholders, and JV entities.
- Evaluate marine vessels proposed by contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate inspections and readiness for vessel mobilization.
- Support technical evaluations of offshore marine support vessels during bidding.
- Manage project logistics charges and coordinate with relevant departments for closure.
- Coordinate with Marine, HSE, and PTS departments for inspections and compliance.
- Organize inspections to ensure punch items are closed before mobilization.
- Keep project leaders informed of execution issues and recommend solutions.
- Act as the main communication point for offshore execution activities.
- Review project scope related to offshore logistics and provide input during FEED and bidding stages.
- Coordinate offshore survey activities and marine access requirements.
