The Raytheon Automated Logistics Control System department is a team of software developers, architects, businessanalystsand productsupportpersonnel whosupportlogisticssolutionsfor fielded equipment and systems around the world.

We are looking for an ALCS Systems / Software Logistics Product Support Engineer that we can train in the agile methods we utilize to sustain anddeveloplogisticssolutions.

The Automated Logistics Control System is a flagship database application and consists of multiple modules for supplysupport, assetmanagement, work planning andadministrationas well as systemconfiguration management. ALCS has been an RTX application for 40+years,and the team has continued toinnovateand expand its capabilities.

This unaccompanied position will be onsite in Doha, Qatar for an international assignment with additional compensation.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.

What You Will Do

  • Responsiblefor assistingcustomersin the use of ALCS and theadministrationof the data generated by the transactions in the application.
  • Developrequirements fromcustomerinteraction, and process definitions thatneedupdate or modification.
  • Utilize softwareresourcesand MS SQL procedures tocreatereports, dashboards andcustomerdata requests asneeded.
  • Supportthe creation / adjustment of transactions at both application and database layer.
  • Supportthe implementation of changes as new releases are readied.
  • Assist in thesupportof the infrastructure for the ALCS application at the Qatar PATRIOT Depot.
  • The ability to take new projects from idea to implementation while managing cost and schedule.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 1 year experience.
  • Experience in Program Management, Earned Value, and Project Management.
  • Experience.Net C# software development methodologies, and the ability to be trained in SQL reporting.
  • Experience withdatabase applications and data intensive processes.
  • Experience generating deliverable documents, planning activities including developing and performing presentations to thecustomer.
  • Ability to isolate problems and initiatesolutions.
  • Mid-level training in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint

    2. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in business process re-engineering and methodologies is required, with experience in Government and GCC being highly desirable.
    3. Ability to map processes including identifying critical path and areas to improve within the processes.
    4. Ability to undertake sensitivity analysis for the existing processes.
    5. Experience and knowledge in Quality Management tools (TQM, EFQM).
    6. Experience in Construction industry with focus on Public Works or Utility services.
    7. Strong knowledge in business processing tools such as VISIO or QPR is a plus and other BPR software.
    8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
    9. Problem solver with out of the box thinking.
    10. Exposure to statistical tools for analysing processes is desirable.
    11. Lean or Six Sigma training and implementation experience is desirable.
    12. Ability to work across multi-functional teams to deliver quality on time and in a collaborative environment.
