Key Responsibilities
Export & Import Operations:
- Oversee the complete international logistics cycle, including shipping, documentation, customs clearance , and final delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with Qatar Customs import/export regulations , including proper classification, EPCs, and other regulatory filings.
- Manage logistics for bulk raw materials, finished goods, and equipment across sea, air, and land transport modes.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers for timely movement and clearance of goods.
Shipping Documentation & Trade Compliance:
- Prepare, verify, and manage all required documentation including:
- Bill of Lading (B/L), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin (COO), EPC (Export Permit Certificate), BAL (Bill Approval Letter)
- Ensure compliance with Incoterms , international trade regulations, and destination-specific import requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for all shipments and support internal and external audits.
Container & Freight Logistics:
- Extensive experience managing a large number of container shipments globally , including coordination, scheduling, and tracking.
- Optimize container utilization, port schedules, and shipping line negotiations to reduce cost and lead time.
- Monitor global freight trends and proactively manage shipping routes to minimize disruption.
- Resolve issues related to delays, demurrage, claims, and damaged cargo efficiently.

**About this role**
- Uphold safety, health, environmental and worker welfare performance of all logistics execution activities being implemented by the EPC Contractors.
