Job Description
Malaak is seeking a compassionate and experienced Elderly Care Nurse to join our in-home care team. The ideal candidate should be a nursing graduate, or have an RN license with practical experience in elderly care. This role is perfect for someone who values patient-centered care and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for elderly clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Direct Elderly Care : Provide high-quality, compassionate care to elderly clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, mobility support, and meal preparation. Monitor vital signs and address basic healthcare needs with accuracy.
- Care Planning : Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans, tailored to meet each client's unique health requirements and personal preferences.
- Patient and Family Education : Offer guidance and support to families, educating them on elder care techniques, proper use of medical equipment, and ongoing care needs.
- Safety and Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures, ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients. Maintain up-to-date documentation of care provided in compliance with homecare standards.
Qualifications :
Certification and Education :
- Nursing graduate (Bachelor’s degree or diploma) with experience in elderly care. (or)
- Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in elderly care.
Experience : A minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting focused on elderly or homecare services.
Skills and Competencies :
- Strong understanding of elderly care needs, including chronic condition management and personal assistance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and provide high-quality care in a home setting.

This role involves 24-hour accountability for clinical, operational, and budget responsibilities for all nursing services within the allocated functions. The Director will work as a key member of the hospital’s senior nursing management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care, optimal patient experience, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and manage nursing staff within critical care
• Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical services
• Direct resource allocation, performance management, and staff development
• Ensure the quality and safety of patient care and adherence to organizational standards
• Oversee budgeting, financial compliance, and efficiency in service delivery
• Actively participate in research and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
Education:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field, or an MBA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a 3-year Diploma in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse.
Experience:
• 10+ years of progressive responsibility in the relevant field.
• Nursing Management experience within the relevant specialty area in an acute care hospital.

Certification and Licensure:
• Valid professional nursing license in the country of origin.
• Meets licensing requirements of the State of Qatar.
