This role involves 24-hour accountability for clinical, operational, and budget responsibilities for all nursing services within the allocated functions. The Director will work as a key member of the hospital’s senior nursing management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care, optimal patient experience, and outcomes.

Certification and Licensure:
• Valid professional nursing license in the country of origin.
• Meets licensing requirements of the State of Qatar.
Professional Membership:
• Member of a professional nursing association (preferred).

QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements

Homecare Assistant
Homecare Assistant works under the supervision of the senior nursing staff and assists the patient/client and its family with daily activities such as maintaining hygiene, patient's position change, daily care, looking after and nurturing the baby/child and other tasks by following the care plan prepared by the nurse and/or the medical doctor.
The Homecare Assistant is also responsible for cleaning and maintaining the patient's environment. The workplace could be, but not limited to a hospital setting, clinic, patient's home and others.
EMPLOYEE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend patients' needs as per the client's contract (4, 8 or 12-hour basis).
- Assists the nursing team, under direct supervision, to provide basic activities of daily living care for clients.
- Perform all required daily hygiene duties such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, diaper change, etc.
- Maintains a clean, neat, pleasant and safe patient environment.
- Records and monitors any changes in patients' condition and escalates any direct patient concern to the charge nurse and family members.
- Assists in the mobilisation of patients following the charge nurse instructions.
- Responds to patient requests and needs and observes and reports changes in patient's condition to the assigned charge nurse.
- Demonstrates an understanding and performs basic infection control procedures correctly, e.g. Hand hygiene, Environmental Cleaning, Isolation precautions.
- Understands and maintains confidentiality of patient information at all times and treats patients and their families with respect and dignity.
- Takes responsibility for their own work schedules by making alternative arrangements in case required, in collaboration with the nursing team and the management.
- Maintains professional boundaries in communication with the patient and patient's family members.
- Maintains professional behavior and communication at all times, especially when managing potential conflict situations.
- Report any ethical or behavioral concerns from clients immediately to their supervisor.
