SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician. The tasks performed shall include but not be limited to minor plumbing, carpentry, sheet metal, welding, locksmithing, and minor movement and reconfiguration of furniture in support of a Government customer at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
Essential Job Duties
- Perform repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance on customer facilities.
- Remodel, retrofit, and repair interior and exterior structures made of wood, light gauge metal, drywall, or plaster, and the associated plumbing systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and user-level preventive maintenance checks on plumbing systems and ensure higher-level preventive maintenance inspections are being conducted.
- Provide minor repairs to plumbing systems (water, sewage, and wastewater), old piping, clogged fixtures, leaky faucets, and equipment; check old pipes for fit, soundness, and operation; and maintain available back-up assets on hand to ensure operational levels.
- Conduct coordination with other facility maintenance tradesmen and civil engineering authorities.
- Work from blueprints, specifications, drawings, and instructions to remodel, retrofit, maintain, and repair various types of facilities and structures.
- Inspect completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations; inspect related work by contractors.
- Plan, install, repair, alter, and/or replace furnishings, fixtures, equipment, appliances, and finishes to include doors, flooring, ceilings, and cabinets as necessary. This includes inspection, maintenance, repair or improvement of roofing components, windows, exterior drainage.
Minimum Requirements
- Active in Scope TS/SCI security clearance.
- Five years of relevant facility maintenance experience.
- Experience with maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Knowledge of welding and sheet metal fabrication for minor maintenance and repair of flashing, ducting, fencing, turnstiles, signage, and other structural components.
- Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of the Air Force or Army culture, language and expectations for mission success.
Work Environment
- Full-time position with standard working hours; may require occasional evening or weekend work.

Manager is informed of any condition of an aircraft

indicators Ensure the effective management of regulatory activities by
setting delivery targets, monitoring progress and developing performance
improvement programmes. Prioritises activities within/across teams to maximise
efficiency. Responsible for the assessment of escalated issues for any impact
on continuing airworthiness and generating effective resolution, or sponsoring
escalation to management, as appropriate - Completion
of activities Ensure
all Part 145 activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records
are maintained on relevant systems (IT / paper based). Ensure suitably
qualified, experienced and authorised personnel perform all Part 145
activities. Ensure the integration of Part 145 activity
within the business, including the engagement of key stakeholders at all stages
of the process. Provide support and guidance to the team - Procedure/standards Comply with
the regulatory framework, its associated procedures and standards and any other
company procedures and standards, as applicable. Identify and propose changes - Safety
Management System Promote
the application of Human Factors, Error Management, Risk Management and Safety
Assurance within the Part 145 team(s), together with the proactive analysis,

The Qatar Patriot Depot Maintenance Lead provides support to the in-country Operation Manager and the Field Manager. Assisting with the testing, check-out, repair and maintenance of all PATRIOT major end items and supporting equipment and testing systems when the Fire Unit problems are beyond the capabilities of unit maintenance personnel. Additional responsibilities include assisting in isolating hardware and software problems, assistance with fault isolation / diagnostic procedures, and on-the-job and informal training as required by the Qatar Depot Program Management. The Qatar Depot Maintenance lead will assist in isolating complex electronic problems between the hardware, software and Battery Replaceable Units (BRUs) using a variety of electronic repair and fault isolation procedures such as system diagnostics, unit self-checks, BITE, and tools and test equipment. This position is located in Doha Qatar.
What You Will Do :
Ensure successful execution of all in-country Raytheon sustainment efforts, and overall customer satisfaction.
Prompt and timely response to all internal and external customer requests
Ensure appropriate communication, collaboration and accountability between cross functional work cells to meet customer expectations / deadlines / commitments
Ensure program directed comms are flowed to full QPAT team, follow up as needed
Deconflict / prioritize activities / events (Raytheon driven and QEADF driven) in collaboration with leads / managers, LT
Provides direction on activities and behaviors. Motivates team members and facilitates team meetings. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, task, and solutions.
Qualifications You Must Have :
Demonstrated experience in the operation, sustainment and operations of the Patriot Missile System Radar equipment.
Trained and Knowledgeable in the operation, sustainment, readiness reporting, and troubleshooting procedures, of the Patriot Radar Missile System equipment.
Knowledge with the operational / analytical software used on the Patriot radar systems.
Experienced in using ECS troubleshooting software aids Status Monitor, Switch 9, System Exerciser and Radar Action Cycler, in order to distinguish between digital and analog problems.
Knowledge in the utilization of common industry external test equipment, such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power meters, frequency counters, spectrum and digital analyzers.
Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
Successful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course for MOS 27X / 34S / 94S / 916A / 918D / 140E / 14E / 14T or an equivalent course of instruction on a similar electronic system conducted by the military or the system contractor.
Demonstrated experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, to include system integration and checkout.
Must be able to work in extreme desert heat environments and lift 50 pounds.
Qualifications We Prefer :
Eight (8) years Patriot Depot Forward maintenance experience working on Configuration III+ Patriot Equipment. Demonstrated experience with Raytheon Quality Control procedures and of the Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration and check out (SICO) process.
Experience using program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processes.
Demonstrated experience with Contractor Logistics Support and comprehensive planning skills.
Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with special focus on achieving active participation of appropriate individuals across the business. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Project. Demonstrated experience with training of team members.
Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs and living and working in an overseas location.
Required Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Applied Science with 10 years related experience. May substitute experience for education. (i.e., Associates degree with 12 years of related experience, or High School graduate with 16 years of related experience
