The OpportunityWe are seeking multiple experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors / Commercial Managers to join our client’s supervision consultancy team in Doha. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in managing multiple Cost-Plus construction contracts on a $Multi-Billion portfolio of infrastructure projects (Roads & Utilities).
This is an excellent opportunity for senior commercial professionals with significant Gulf experience and specialist knowledge in Cost-Plus contract administration to contribute to one of the region’s most dynamic and challenging infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the commercial and contractual management of Cost-Plus construction projects.
- Provide expert advice on contractual entitlements, cost control, and commercial strategy.
- Administer Cost-Plus contracts, ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Oversee valuation of works, payments, variations, and claims in accordance with contract terms.
- Support project teams with cost forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Act as a key liaison between the client, contractors, and stakeholders on all commercial matters.
- Manage and respond to ad hoc and urgent tasks within defined timeframes.
- Provide clear commercial leadership within a multidisciplinary supervision consultancy environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years’ professional experience , including at least 10 years in the Gulf region .
- Proven track record of managing Cost-Plus mega projects within the last 5 years.
- Minimum 5 years’ direct experience on Cost-Plus construction contracts.
- Strong background working for a Design or Supervision Consultant .
- Demonstrable expertise in commercial management and contract administration.
- Ability to handle urgent, time-sensitive tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Chartered status (RICS or equivalent).
- MMUP (Qatar) registration.
- Previous experience with Ashghal projects .
