About The Role

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis of consumer behavior, brand business intelligence, business performance, and KPIs evaluation across all functions including retail, store, vendor profitability, inventory, and warehouse. This role ensures management receives timely data analysis for decision-making. The analyst maintains databases and BI tools in coordination with IT, and manages daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales and promotion reports/dashboard. They work on AX Dynamic (R3 Reporting) and Power BI projects during the transfer stage, assisting in restructuring, mapping, generating, maintaining, and analyzing new R3 analytics reports.

Key Accountabilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Deploy, generate, and analyze Power BI reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly dashboards, providing a comprehensive assessment of KPIs against budgets, trends, traffic, and inventory to support business decisions.

Communicate regularly with relevant business owners and end-users (Category Managers, Operational Managers, Marketing, etc.) to understand reporting needs and modify existing reports as necessary.

Coordinate with IT for reporting development to ensure alignment with BI reporting and analytical structures.

Conduct gap analysis and root cause assessments to identify factors impacting sales trends and fluctuations, providing feedback and recommendations to management.

Perform analysis on consumer behavior, customer profiles, store and brand performance, mystery shopper programs, and market surveys to identify opportunities and propose relevant business strategies.

Evaluate marketing promotional activities, compare sales outcomes against targets and KPIs, and highlight key findings with recommendations for improvement.

Troubleshoot Power BI reporting issues in collaboration with IT, ensuring accuracy and reliability of reports.

Support strategic planning by providing accurate data and analysis to improve future projections and business planning.

About the role

As the Finance Business Intelligence Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the Finance Business Intelligence (FBI) Strategy across various business units within your assigned portfolio. Your focus will be on specific projects that enhance our financial intelligence capabilities and drive business performance.

Accountabilities:

Qualifications

About you

**Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum of 6 years of job-related experience
- Experience in preparing and giving presentations on business performance to senior management level.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on Tableau and Alteryx Tableau.
- Proven experience in managing a team of data analysts or business intelligence professionals.
- Experience in deriving insights from data and submitting actionable recommendations to management.
- Experience working on projects concentrating on digital transformation, continuous improvement and enhancements is essential for this role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels in the organization.
- Experience in Airline/commercial/F&B or Retail would be preferred.

Technical Skills and Proficiencies:

- Data Analysis: Strong skills in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive modeling, and multivariate testing.

Certifications:

- Alteryx Designer Core/Advanced certification is preferred.
- Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate or Tableau Desktop Certified Professional certification is preferred.
