A new role exists with a very large real estate company that has made some revolutionary changes to the Qatar landscape and is now in a position to hire a Strategic Marketing Director for the continued development of this large scale residential project rolling out over the next few months/years.
Managing a team of 4-8 people in Sales/CRM executives and reporting to the CEO, you will be a hands-on marketer with a key focus on branding, communications, media relations and PR.
With experience of running a marketing team, you will be a strategic thinker who can operate effectively at a senior level. The senior marketing manager will set the marketing direction for the project short and long term, develop marketing programmes across the appropriate marketing mix -- advertising, direct marketing, internet, digital marketing, events, public relations, sales support etc. You will have strong marketing communications skills and experience of delivering brand building marketing campaigns in a multi-channel environment. Also you will have some understanding of digital marketing platforms and experience in direct marketing targeting the correct customers.
Finally the emphasis on a sales driven marketer is essential in the early stages of the project and you are not afraid of rolling up your sleeves to deliver under high pressure and strict deadlines and working closely with the key stakeholders.
Experience and knowledge of the retail, luxury, culture combined with real estate marketing is also desirable.
Degree educated, preferable in a marketing/ communications
A minimum of 3 years work experience in the Middle East
At least 10 years marketing experience, of which 3 managing a team in a senior position
Track record of ATL,BTL strategies across many channels delivering best in class campaigns
Good existing contacts within the local media
Strong communicator and team player
Can influence at all levels
Is a creative thinker with ability to WOW
