- Prepare potential bidders lists based upon the existing data regarding contracts maintained in a data bank and ensure prequalification status.
- Prepare and compile Tender Documents for tenders issued directly by the Department.

Responsibilities
Your Commitment
As an instructional faculty member, you will report to the Head of the Department and be responsible for delivering and evaluating a broad range of courses within the Industrial Trades ( Industrial Mechanical ) programs. You will evaluate student progress and manage the resources of the learning environment. You will be responsible for the inventory, monitoring, and maintaining workshop and laboratory equipment within the specified program area. The instructional member trainer will work with other instructional members, faculty members and staff as required to provide exceptional learning experiences for the trainees and students.
You will keep course portfolio documents required for program review and accreditation processes and engage in instructional and new program development. The College encourages applications from instructional members who will also enhance innovation.

Education and Experience Requirements
Instructional faculty members will be appointed in the appropriate rank based on their education and experience. The broad criteria are provided below.
For Industrial Trades Instructor
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or trade designation in the relevant discipline, employment experience, and relevant Professional Credentials and Certification for disciplines that require Professional Credentials and Certification, specifically HVAC, Plumbing, Welding or Rotating equipment, from a recognized and accredited institution.
- A minimum of five (5) years of employment experience as a practitioner within the relevant discipline
- A minimum of three (3) years of training experience.
- Competency in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Apply various teaching approaches in the classroom and for practice experiences, including the laboratory, simulation, and practicums.
- Ability to use a variety of educational technology and platforms.
- Demonstrate academic and information literacy skills.
- Commitment to applied and experiential learning as a pedagogy and a key feature of UDST’s mandate.
- Ability to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessments incorporating contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context and to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes identified in program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of design engineers / designer’s in the development of design packages for pipeline / flowline designs for onshore projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met within the specified scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee and guide the design of pipeline and flowline systems, including hydraulic calculations, material selection, route optimization, structural integrity, and system compatibility.
- Ensure designs adhere to local, national, and international regulations, including safety standards, environmental requirements, and industry codes (e.g., ASME, API, etc.).
- Ensure that designs meet quality standards, and that all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and delivered on time.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project expectations and address design concerns.
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and construction of pipelines and flowlines within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is must.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of GCC experience.

Job Summary: The Design / Engineering – Manager is responsible for overseeing / managing all design / engineering activities related to construction of flow line works. This role involves close co-ordination with the Engineering contractor, Client , Project manager, QHSE team , planning team , materials department and other stakeholder for smooth operation/handover of the project on time, within budget, and as per project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of design engineers / designer’s in the development of design packages for pipeline / flowline designs for onshore projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met within the specified scope, schedule, and budget. Oversee and guide the design of pipeline and flowline systems, including hydraulic calculations, material selection, route optimization, structural integrity, and system compatibility. Ensure designs adhere to local, national, and international regulations, including safety standards, environmental requirements, and industry codes (e.g., ASME, API, etc.). Ensure that designs meet quality standards, and that all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and delivered on time. Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project expectations and address design concerns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and construction of pipelines and flowlines within the Oil & Gas industry. Experience in the oil and gas industry is must. Minimum of 6-8 years of GCC experience. Deep understanding of pipeline design, flowline systems, and related infrastructure., Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.). Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS, Caesar II, or similar tools. Experience in hydraulic analysis, stress analysis, and material selection for pipeline design.
