Premium Solutions, on behalf of a leading healthcare group in Qatar, is seeking a highly qualified Director - Nursing (Critical Care) . This role involves 24-hour accountability for clinical, operational, and budget responsibilities for all nursing services within the allocated functions. The Director will work as a key member of the hospital’s senior nursing management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care, optimal patient experience, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and manage nursing staff within critical care
• Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical services
• Direct resource allocation, performance management, and staff development
• Ensure the quality and safety of patient care and adherence to organizational standards
• Oversee budgeting, financial compliance, and efficiency in service delivery
• Actively participate in research and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
Education:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field, or an MBA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a 3-year Diploma in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse.
Experience:
• 10+ years of progressive responsibility in the relevant field.
• Nursing Management experience within the relevant specialty area in an acute care hospital.
• Director-level experience within the specialty area.
• Experience managing large budgets.
Certification and Licensure:
• Valid professional nursing license in the country of origin.
• Meets licensing requirements of the State of Qatar.
Professional Membership:
• Member of a professional nursing association (preferred).
Skills and Abilities:
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to large audiences.
• Effective coordination of resources balanced with safe patient care.
• Empowering and enabling leadership style.
• Setting and monitoring performance standards.
• Developmental approach to staff.
• Establishing policies, systems, and structures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Arabic speaking and/or bilingual in other languages (preferred).

We have a new requirement for a Senior Critical Care Consultant - MICU, for one of the leading healthcare organizations in the Middle East - Hamad Medical Corporation.
To be eligible to apply for this role:
- You must have a Western Board/CCT and a minimum of 6 years' post-specialist board (CCT or equivalent). If you possess CESR, you are eligible to apply if you have more than 9 years' Consultant experience post-certification.

- Contributes to special projects/assignments linked to therapy strategic priorities and professional practice model
- Liaises and works within an interprofessional practice model to ensure high quality, holistic, and safe family centered care
- Acts as an advocate by empowering women/children and their families to make informed choices by providing them with information, support, and direction to the relevant support services when appropriate
- Identifies and alerts members of the medical team to changes in medical status of the patient
- Identifies impairments and refer to other medical specialties when necessary
