- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support to other teams and contractors for various systems that run on/utilize the network infrastructure such as AV systems (lighting, sound, rigging), CCTV, Access Control, BMS (Escalator Management, House Lighting control & temperature management systems, Solar panel management systems etc.).
- Replacement of faulty network device and re-introduction of replacement devices into the network environment
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning daily basis and perform necessary health checks to ensure maximum service availability and least downtime
- Backup, validation and restoration of network configuration.
- Perform Bi-annual preventative maintenance on network infrastructure.
- Administration of critical multiple firewalls protecting the network edge, internal network, datacenter network and ensuring proper segregation of traffic between corporate and guest networks.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Support Event requirements and internal documentations
Desired experience and skills
At least 2-4years of experience in networking
Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills,
Network security and Firewall administration (Fortinet)
Bachelors degree in related field
Working knowledge in Cisco and Arista switches
CCIE certified (CCNP minimum will be considered)
