The Systems Administrator II is responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of site level servers. The candidate must be able to coordinate and oversee system backups, hardware installation, software installation, and system upgrades. The position requires establishing work center schedules, maintaining conduct and discipline, and ensuring all subordinates are adequately trained to perform assigned tasks. Program: OMDAC-SWACA. You must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country in order to be qualified for this position.
Responsibilities- Operates and maintains all aspects of server administration including Microsoft 2008 Active Directory, Windows Internet Name Service (WINS), DNS, DHCP, print queues, etc.
- Responsible for the daily administration of Exchange servers (2008 or higher) and Outlook Web Access (OWA).
- Management of Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) or Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
- Uses VERITAS Backup Exec to conduct file server backups and restores.
- Maintains systems availability and performs regular maintenance on equipment.
- Proficient at hardware maintenance and troubleshooting of various vendor server platforms including Dell, HP, LTO tape library, fiber switch, and SANs.
- Maintains antivirus and security requirements by the US Army standards and regulations.
- Provides user and Microsoft Exchange account maintenance as required.
- Establishes shift schedules and performs employee appraisals; maintains training records and follows the Vectrus Leadership guide.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Security Clearance: Requires an active Secret Clearance.
- Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT). This position requires adherence to DoD M. All candidates must maintain at least one (1) baseline certification and one (1) Computing Environment (CE) certification. Baseline certifications cannot be used as a CE certification.
- Authorized certifications for this job title include: IAT Level II; Cisco CCNA/CCNP - Security; CompTIA CASP+, CySA+, Security+, GIAC (GCED, GCIH, GICSP, GSEC), ISACA CISA, ISC2 CISSP/Associate, SSCP, and various Microsoft CE credentials (e.g., Azure, 365, MCSA, MCSE, MCT) as listed in the original job description.
- Experience: Five (5) years of practical experience with Windows Server 2012 or higher, Active Directory tools, in an enterprise AD environment. Must apply extensive knowledge of IA concepts and practices to ensure secure integration and operation of enclave environments (NIPR, SIPR, etc.).
The role requires adherence to security standards and regulations applicable to defense environments and DoD guidelines.
Experience & Skills- Strong experience in Windows Server 2012 or higher, Active Directory, Exchange, and related Microsoft technologies.

Trace Systems is seeking a dynamic Systems Administrator (TBMCS) to join our team in support of the AFCENT Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) contract at Doha, Qatar . This role offers the opportunity to perform technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks and activities for TBMCS suite servers, clients and applications. The Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- The contractor shall prepare a meeting minutes report documenting any decisions, recommendations and action items.
- Perform all technical support and O&M activities for supported Enterprise systems;
- Design, write, modify and implement software programs/applications;
- Develop "glue-ware" to support operational client applications and security patches;
- Provide Tier 2 technical support;
- Install, configure, operate, manage, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, inspect and maintain server systems (physical and virtual), including administration of core and functional services;
- Manage and administer user accounts, profiles and access;
- Monitoring user access and adherence to established policies and procedures to ensure a secure operating environment;
- Monitor workstation and server logs for errors and failures and perform appropriate troubleshooting and maintenance;
- Provide technical assistance for assigned projects;
- Provide desktop, server and software application integration support;
- Operate and maintain monitoring and analysis tools; and detect, analyze and resolve platform, infrastructure and system problems;
- Monitor and control system performance, utilization and capacity to ensure optimal performance, availability, serviceability and recoverability; and report any vulnerabilities or deficiencies to government technical representatives;
- Evaluate current architecture, research current technologies/solutions; and provide systems hardware/software upgrade and replacement recommendations for end-of- life/end-of-support COTS products to government technical representatives;
- Other Duties as Required.
- 1+ years performing administrative maintenance on TBMCS servers operating at an AOC, SPO, or an AFCENT reviewed and CO approved equivalent organization
- DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 or higher (Security+)
- Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification
- Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
- Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.

The Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
The contractor shall prepare a meeting minutes report documenting any decisions, recommendations and action items. Minimum Qualifications
1+ years performing administrative maintenance on TBMCS servers operating at an AOC, SPO, or an AFCENT reviewed and CO approved equivalent organization DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 or higher (Security+) Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.

GovCIO is currently hiring a Network / Systems Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes basic network monitoring, systems maintenance, user support, and hardware / software troubleshooting. This position will be located on a US Military base overseas and will be an onsite position.
Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains smooth operation of computer systems (to include operating systems, software, and hardware) in networked or stand-alone configurations, maintains system integrity, and upgrades systems and / or servers as required. May create and document new methods supporting network / system operations and implement changes to procedures. Consults with support teams, help desks, customers, and other technical staff in the resolution of problems, coordinates and performs operations and / or maintenance activities for networks / servers, identify recurring problems, and recommends steps to reduce the severity or frequency of problems. Plans for the transition of development and / or production environments to new technologies, utilize system software to monitor the performance of system files, manage system data to maintain performance efficiencies, and / or studies system requirements to determine proper server installation methods and procedures.
- Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network / system security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Provides regular monitoring and analysis regarding short and long-range planning for in-house systems.
- Prepares or ensures that appropriate documentation exists, including operational instructions.
- Writes or modifies basic scripts to resolve performance problems and automate administration tasks.
- Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
