Main Roles / Responsibilities:

1. Attend to sick colleagues at the clinic, provide First Aid treatment, medication, and recommend visiting a doctor depending on the case severity.
2. Support and advise sick colleagues, collaborating with their managers or department heads for doctor visits or sick leave.
3. Administer medications and treatments, record medical history and symptoms.
4. Monitor, administer, and track medicine stock and inventory; place monthly orders on Birchstreet.
5. Develop and implement health and safety programs, educate colleagues on healthy habits such as nutrition and wellbeing.
6. Stay updated in nursing and healthcare, provide health tips, and organize health talks or campaigns.
7. Hold a registered and licensed diploma in Nursing.
8. Minimum 2 years of work experience as a licensed nurse.
9. Possess good problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
10. Preferably residing in Qatar with support for transfer.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse who has experience in Ophthalmology and to care for patients and facilitate their speedy recovery. As a Nurse you will also be responsible for educating them and their families on prevention and healthy habits. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our patients with compassion and one who can facilitate their speedy recovery. The candidate will be responsible for educating them and their families on prevention methods and healthy habits. Ideally, the candidate should be a responsible, gentle and well-trained professional who can provide exceptional nursing care with minimal supervision whilst following health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote the patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.

Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians.

Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.

Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patient's charts.

Adjust and administer patient's medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physicianâs orders.

Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.).

Provide instant medical care in emergencies.

Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants.

Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.

Expand their knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.

Proven experience as a registered nurse.
