KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Maintains a clean, neat, pleasant, safe, patient environment, including unit specific patient rooms / Operating Rooms and procedure spaces in line with infection control standards.
• Cleans and assists in the set-up of Operating and Procedure Rooms between cases.
• Escalates any direct patient interaction to the Clinical Nurse Leaders and does not have un-supervised patient interactions.
• Assists in the restocking of consumables, stores and laundry as required by the assigned unit and / or instructed by the nursing team, in collaboration with materials management staff.

Job Description
The primary purpose of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to provide essential support and compassionate care to patients under the supervision of nurses and physicians, with a strong emphasis on cultural sensitivity. CNAs assist with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, and mobility, while also performing vital signs checks, aiding in examinations, and maintaining patient documentation. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Obtain provided Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical Demands:

Homecare Assistant works under the supervision of the senior nursing staff and assists the patient/client and its family with daily activities such as maintaining hygiene, patient's position change, daily care, looking after and nurturing the baby/child and other tasks by following the care plan prepared by the nurse and/or the medical doctor.
