Corporate Strategy
- Contribute to the development of objectives and plans to support an environment of continuous improvement
- Report to the Director of Nursing on the progress of activities against the annual business plans, opportunities, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required, to make an informed decision
- Maintain nursing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
Leadership
- Manage and continuously monitor the performance of the nursing department to ensure performance deviations are identified in a timely manner, and required resources and actions are implemented to meet performance targets
- Coach and mentor team members to undertake tasks safely and effectively, and manage deviations from effective and/or safe practice

Clinical Excellence
- Develop and assist in the development and implementation of clinical policy, procedure and protocol
- Contribute to the on-going Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for nursing services to monitor nursing compliance with standards and regulatory requirements through quality walk around, incident reporting, review and audit
- Prepare appropriate plans of actions to address any quality deficiencies or complaints.
- Ensure collaboration between physicians, consultants and other members of multi-disciplinary team, community agencies, and institutions to improve the quality of services and to resolve identified problems.
- Promote Clinical Governance across the nursing profession and Naufar to ensure all patients receive the best care
Planning of services
- Coordinate the delivery of nursing services in order to ensure the needs of Patients are met
- Continuously monitor resource allocation to ensure that they are within planning parameters, and that services and programmers are delivered effectively and efficiently
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that high-quality holistic care is provided to Patients.

- Ensure that nursing personnel have valid and up-to-date licenses in order to comply with state regulations.

Relationship Management and Partnerships
- Support in building trusting relationships and partnerships with relevant institutions to enable exchange of support, knowledge and expertise and to improve the clinical care provided by Naufar.
Medical Records
- Ensure proper utilization and adaptation to the management information system (EMR) including accuracy, completeness and confidentiality of information in order to ensure appropriate follow-up and treatment of patients, effective circulation of information, improve efficiency and optimize the utilization of resources.
Professional/Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Nursing from an accredited university or equivalent professional Nursing qualification.
- Up-to date CPD in relevant areas.
- Licensed as a practicing Nurse.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject area.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in addiction treatment and mental health, including at least 3 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
- Naufar may exempt the experience requirement for Fresh Qatari Graduates and long term residents of Qatar who study in Qatar Universities and successfully complete the Departmental in house training programs within the probationary period (3 months).

Homecare Assistant works under the supervision of the senior nursing staff and assists the patient/client and its family with daily activities such as maintaining hygiene, patient's position change, daily care, looking after and nurturing the baby/child and other tasks by following the care plan prepared by the nurse and/or the medical doctor.
