Job Summary and Purpose

The Third Officer understudies and assists the Second Officer. He must keep a navigational watch.

During cargo operations, he will assist with cargo operations, stability, ballast operations, moorings and ship security during the period of his watch.

• He is responsible for the safety of all personnel working for him.
• He is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all deck portable firefighting equipment and lifesaving appliances.
• He is responsible to the Master for the completion of records of on -board training.
• Where required shall act as nominated officer for the GMDSS station with responsibility for associated tests and records.
• He is responsible for the upkeep of the Recreational and Technical library.

The Third Officer must carry out any lawful command and delegated duty as issued by the Master.

A Junior Officer is an ex-cadet recently qualified as a Third Officer who may complete a probationary contract prior to full unsupervised OOW duties.

• Degree in Engineering or HSE Certification (HND/Accredited HSE Certificate)

Job Title: Security Officer (Cyber Security)

• Monitor data and network traffic (internal and external) to detect and report suspicious activities.
• Analyze, triage, and remediate security incidents, including malware and vulnerability management.
• Manage, operate, and update security tools (SIEM, SOAR, Firewalls, Sandboxing, VPNs, etc.).
• Enforce security and access control policies; identify and report misuse or abuse of access.
• Provide security consultations to developers, network engineers, and related teams.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and ensure timely mitigation of risks.
• Stay updated on the latest IT / OT cyber threats, attacks, and security trends.
• Ensure adherence to Qatar-approved security frameworks and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in cyber security.
• Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP / IP, WAN, LAN, Internet protocols, OT segmentation).
• Good understanding of cloud environments, client-server and web applications, and relational databases.
• Excellent command of English (reading and writing).
• Relevant certifications in Information Security are required (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.).

We are seeking a qualified Radiography Protection Officer (RPO) to ensure safe radiographic operations and compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. The RPO will oversee radiation protection measures, conduct monitoring, and provide guidance to personnel working with radiography equipment.

• Monitor and enforce radiation safety protocols in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and radiation surveys in work areas.
• Maintain records of radiation exposure and safety reports.
• Ensure proper use, storage, and handling of radiography equipment and radioactive sources.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions for staff on radiation protection.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with Qatar MME requirements.
• Assist in emergency response related to radiation hazards.

Certification: Valid RPO certification/license issued by Qatar MME

Purpose of the position:

As Inspection Officer , you will respond to the Department Manager and be part of Saipem Qatar within Procurement Department .

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Ensure quality in the delivery of Goods and documents indicated in the Purchase Order and ensure the suitability of Goods, thus preventing extra costs, delays or other disruptions in the execution of projects, by promoting/suggesting any corrective actions that may be necessary during the production and/or assembly of the Goods
• Check the compliance of the supplies with contractual terms and technical and qualitative requirements defined during the design phase, through the inspection/tests and documents reviews
• Review Purchase Order and all the contractual documentation in order to detect discrepancies and prevent any misunderstanding that could potentially cause delays
• Ensure a supply chain management approach in order to timely identify and manage any potential cause of delay, and mitigate delays already detected
• Ensure specialist support to engineering department to vendor quality control documents review (ITP, NDT procedures, FAT procedures, etc.)
• Perform or supervise inspections and tests in compliance with Inspection and Test Plan (e.g., Electrical equipment and cable testing; Instrumentation equipment and bulk materials testing; Static equipment fabrication and materials testing; welding process)
• Ensure timely issuance of Inspection Reports
• Issue Non-Conformity Reports and Punch Lists in case of not satisfactory inspection
• Ensure the vendor Manufactured Data Book review and approval
