- Participate to the well production follow-up, data consolidation, analysis and reporting
- Participate in the monthly back-allocation exercises
- Participate in the definition of the monthly monitoring program
- Interaction with Field operations teams (Production, Well performance, Metering) for production monitoring and the follow-up of actions on wells
- Active participation in the process to identify and promote production improvement actions
- QC of acquired data with post-mortem for performance improvement
Propose and mature opportunities for improving well inflow performance and productivity
- Active participation in the "Barrel Boosting Group" teamwork, ensuring reservoir management best principles are considered in proposals
- Recommend production improvement actions on existing wells to optimize field production and reservoir management.
- Identify / Propose new targets/opportunities/technologies to prepare future infill/lateral/WO activities and sustain field production
Reservoir simulation
- Participate in dynamic model maintenance for reservoir flow simulation.
- Perform sensitivities on water injection for production and voidage replacement optimization and purposes.
Candidate Profile
- Education: BSc. in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
- Professional experience: Fresh Qatari graduate.
- Technical competencies: Sound reservoir engineering skills, and use of reservoir softwares (OFM, PDMS, Spahir, Petex suite, and basic knowledge of 3D simulation softwares)
- Behavioral competencies: Interactive, Autonomy, Open Mindedness, Analysis, Reliable, Teamworking, Client oriented.
- Other competencies: Fluency in English mandatory. Fluency in Arabic and/or French would be an advantage.

Job Purpose
- Provide leadership to a multidiscipline organisation accountable towards achieving the safe, reliable, environmentally sound, and economically optimised offshore operations. - Key position through leadership and decision making has a significant impact on the both the offshore asset performance, risk management and the offshore facility performance in ensuring the sustained delivery of gas to the onshore inlet facilities.
- The role leads and manages all QELNG Offshore Production & Maintenance activities: including Well Operations, Logistics, Shutdowns, Brownfield interface including with Major Project tie-ins, simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) with Drilling & Completions and Safety of Offshore Assets.
- The role manages the full performance of complex, geographically spread offshore facilities, including living quarter complex with more than 10 geographically diverse remote wellhead platforms having more than 100 offshore wells to provide world-scale gas feedstock to LNG plants and Two gas pipeline projects to support QatarEnergy LNG's sales of LNG, NGL, Sales Gas, Helium, Sulphur, Condensate, and its refined products.
- The job holder manages and controls offshore operations & maintenance activities, accommodation services and logistics, planned and unplanned shutdowns, project expansion coordination and execution, including simultaneous operations involving complex brown field project scope.

Key Job Accountabilities
- Direct & provide overall leadership to the asset team to deliver QELNG's corporate goals and shareholder expectations related to all aspects of offshore assets performance.
- Approve and manage all offshore operational risks, including wells and pipelines to lower the risk to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP). Manage any offshore emergency as level 1 Incident Commander and provide input to operations level-2 Emergency Response Team, by providing leadership during any facility emergencies.
- Create and motivate a harmonious offshore environment, where personnel share living accommodations for up to 28 days (or other alternate shift schedule) to ensure a conducive productive workforce whilst maintaining workforce morale. Oversee recruitment, training & development, competency assurance, motivation & succession planning, whilst ensuring the Asset is staffed with competent personnel to meet the current and future organizational demands.
- Demonstrate visible leadership in Safety, Quality, Environment, and Integrity issues in accordance with QatarEnergy LNG Managements System processes and ensure adherence to all processes and standards by providing feedback and guidance to Heads of Operations & Maintenance/Logistics/well & Pipeline Operations when area for improvement is identified.
- Ensure offshore operational input and support at all stages of Northfield offshore projects development and planning and ensure all brownfield execution is in alignment with OPCO expectations to ensure minimum volumetric downtime and exposure to existing facilities & production.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Lead and authorize shutdown turnaround with in-house resources including planning, material identification, and work execution. This includes ensuring all facility maintenance strategies, including facility shutdowns and start-ups, pigging, subsea inspections are executed effectively with due consideration to safety and environmental issues. Accountable to implement & execute all integrity and maintenance programs associated with QELNG offshore wells.
- Authorize & manage for all aspects of development of the asset annual operating and capital work plan and budget (WP&B) and subsequent stewardship of performance against the approved plan, with focus on cost optimization opportunities.
- Work closely with Subsurface and other stakeholders through Upstream Gas Production Process to ensure and best align Offshore operations activities with onshore demand and to deliver on-spec and on-time gas volumes within specifications as required by Onshore facilities.
- Implement necessary actions/initiatives to achieve pacesetter performance through directing and validating the collection of data for benchmarking including maintenance performance so that activity is within defined limits.
- Focal point and integrator who directs cross assets support between multiple functions including engineering and Subsurface to capture synergies which drives the identification of improvement opportunities that maximize shareholder value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 12 years' experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry; with 5 years' experience as Offshore Installation Manager role.
- Opearational backround.
- Minimum 5 years of independly managing OIM role.
- OPITO certified.

- Prepare RFQ (request for quotation) technical packages for pipelines related scopes

Typical responsibilities
- Produces and reviews piping deliverables with little input or guidance from the Lead Engineer, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the scope of work prior to issue. Such deliverables may include but are not limited to the following:
- Piping design basis, piping material specifications, piping line list, interface schedule, valve list, special items list, support schedule, wall thickness calculations, sizing calculations, stress analysis report, etc.
- Preparation and development of enquiry packages including Specifications, Datasheets, Request for Quotation and Technical Bid Evaluation relating to piping materials.
- Provide direction and guidance to designers in production of the 3D model and piping drawings such as plot plans, line shoots, general arrangement drawings, isometrics, tie-in details, etc.
- Develop specification and prepare material requisitions for piping material
- Supports development and provides piping input to P&IDs, equipment datasheets, civil and structural design.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lead Technical Safety Engineer will be responsible for:
- Provide integrity assurance of Process designs through appropriate application of Shell technical standards and specifications, implementation of DCAF and review of design deliverables and activities.
- Ensure schedule and cost considerations are included in design decisions, while maintaining primary responsibility to assure safe and appropriate quality designs.
- Ensure repeated delivery of projects with HSSE & SP risks demonstrably managed to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP), creating a workplace without harm.
- Ensure Technical HSE Engineering activities are executed in alignment with Shell's Project Delivery Roadmap and Opportunity Realization Process.
- Validate strategies/conceptual designs during early project phases.

- Ensure design meets requirements of Shell's HSSE Framework.

Support production enhancement, development studies, plans and projects to meet company targets in the most cost-effective manner.

- Coordinate Integrated Activity and Gas Volume Plans as per UGP process cycles and sequences and align with stakeholders all well test and injection programs in coordination with operations Department. Monitor rig based well testing, measurement and sampling.
- Support Reservoir Engineers to develop production guidelines to optimize gas and condensate from QatarEnergy LNG wells and review non-routine or unplanned events requiring the management of special parameters (H2S/Water/Condensate/Casing Pressure).
- Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen production shortages and downtime and ensure production availability from offshore in advance to satisfy the LNG requirements and mitigate the short falls in short term basis.
- Review the analysis of all production data and parameters at offshore and onshore facilities, and ensure the use of standards, in-house application tools as well as real time information management tools (POIS).

- Analyse onshore wastewater injection wells for uninterrupted water injection and implement injection guidelines and quality requirements on a continual basis. Elevate any abnormal findings to Section Head.
- Propose stimulation strategy for QatarEnergy LNG wells and support implementation of the same and c oordinate testing and cleanup of wells post stimulation and any change management actions. Review well testing reports for new wells and re-completions.
- Assess stimulation effectiveness using rig based flow back or PLT data, recommend improvement and optimization. Analyse well performance of producing wells post stimulation and recommend remedial action such as re-stimulations to enhance productivity.
- Review input and determine production performance for Well, Platform, Asset for development and re-development projects and complete WIS and WEP development for re-completions and development wells with stimulation and well clean up input.
- Perform well production volume back allocation based on well test and reservoir engineering inputs and Production Logging (PL) interpretation. Contribute monthly and annual reconciliations at all fiscal meter levels.
