About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our Oil & Gas project team in Qatar. The role requires strong expertise in structural engineering for offshore projects, with extensive experience in both greenfield and brownfield modifications. The successful candidate must be able to work independently on Concept, FEED, and Detailed Engineering scopes, while ensuring compliance with international standards and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all aspects of structural engineering for greenfield/brownfield offshore modifications comply with international and company standards (Shell DEP, QatarEnergy standards, EN, ISO, API codes).
  • Perform detailed engineering of offshore structures, including jackets and topside fixed platform structures.
  • Handle Concept, FEED, and Detailed Engineering independently based on project scope of work.

  • Strong expertise in Technical Safety engineering with proven leadership in delivering large-scale projects.
  • Full knowledge of Shell DEPs, NFPA, API, and international codes and standards.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing safety deliverables (safety philosophies, HSE studies, cause & effect matrices, safety layouts, AFP & PFP docs).
  • Strong client-facing skills with prior experience in design reviews, safety workshops, and vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency in safety engineering tools and software used in the Oil & Gas sector.
