• Produce a comprehensive and viable construction program in conjunction with the Project Manager or designates.
• Verify actual progress versus scheduled progress on a daily basis, alerting the Project Manager of any areas of concern regarding schedule slippage of line items and the knock-on effect to related activities.

• Close coordination with the material/purchase and stores departments.
• Analysis of actual and projected delivery dates and their scheduled impacts. Evaluation of early deliveries and possible schedule benefits.
• Maintain current revenue/cost status information and provide revenue/cost projections per activity.
• Continually provide the Project Manager with information on the most cost-effective manpower/equipment loading levels per activity.
• Provide constant support to the Project Manager in preparing the budget, cost analysis and ensure that the project remains within budgetary parameters and moves forward to a successful conclusion for both the client and company.
• Oversee the monthly client billing and certification.
• Address and coordinate the contractual issues related to time and schedule with all concerned.
• Generate the reports according to the client, project and corporate requirements.
• A wide degree of creativity and interpersonal skills is expected.

About The Role

A leading EPC contractor is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a major offshore oil & gas project in Qatar. In this high-responsibility role, you’ll support the project through detailed design, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and handover—ensuring full compliance, safety, and technical excellence across electrical systems and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate FEED and detailed design documents (SLDs, load lists, cable schedules, etc.)

• Supervise FAT, SAT, and commissioning of MV/LV switchgear, UPS, transformers, and protection systems
• Oversee system integration and interface with DCS/SCADA, ensuring cybersecurity and compliance

• Minimum 10 years’ experience with offshore oil & gas electrical systems
• Deep knowledge of MV/LV design, IEC/IEEE standards, and protection schemes

• Familiarity with Shell DEPs and Qatar Petroleum (QP) specifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Engineer specializing in Oil & Gas projects with a strong background in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I). The ideal candidate will independently manage and oversee all QC-related activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Control Plans (QCP) for Oil & Gas E&I projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.
2. Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments at various stages of the project to verify compliance with quality requirements, procedures, and specifications.
3. Generate Request for Inspections (RFIs) to regulatory authorities and client representatives for timely inspections and approvals.
4. Manage and close out Punch Lists efficiently, addressing any discrepancies and non-compliances identified during inspections.
5. Ensure adherence to industry-specific standards, codes, and best practices in all QC activities related to E&I projects.
6. Collaborate with project teams and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and provide technical guidance for achieving project quality goals.
7. Facilitate and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with QA/QC processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
8. Review project plans, drawings, and specifications with engineering and construction teams to ensure they meet quality requirements.
9. Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and quality documentation.
10. Participate in HSE activities, promoting safety and complying with all safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of GCC experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas E&I projects, including electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Proven ability to independently manage QC activities, including ITP and QCP preparation, inspections, RFIs, and punch list closure.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Valid COMPEX Certification is mandatory; additional certifications in QA/QC are advantageous.
