Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Schedules, assigns and plans the work of carpentry and performing a variety of carpentry projects.
• Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of carpentry expenditures, and procedures for equipment maintenance.
• Estimates material and labor.
• Monitors the acquisition and use of materials.
• Maintains time, payroll, and material records, and submits reports.
• Trains or informs employees of new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, work policies, construction codes, and the like.
• Ensures budgeting guidelines are met; prioritizes shop expenditures and assists in preparation of capital and operations budgets.
• Reviews plans and specifications for future buildings, and inspects new buildings to ensure quality work and code and specifications compliance.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Knowledge of computer operation.

Job Purpose:

• To manage and deliver Hamilton Aquatics Learn to Swim programme on the allocated site.

Key Objectives:

• Deliver in line with the Hamilton Aquatics philosophy and Hammy’s Learn to Swim criteria
• Manage the site effectively with continuous communication and a high level of customer service with the primary focus on customer retention and customer happiness at the site
• Ensure maximum optimisation of the site through class utilisation, class availability and timetabling so the site and area target can be met
• Organise marketing activities for the site under the guidance of the Marketing Manager
• Assist in the stakeholder management of the school with the assistance of the Operations Assistant and Area Manager
• Represent Hamilton Aquatics in a professional and positive manner at all times, adhering to the company values.

Desired Qualifications:

• SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification 
• RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC)

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience delivering lessons to a range of abilities
• Proven experience in a related field with administration, recruitment and KPI responsibilities
