Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar for an Architectural Design Engineer. Responsibilities include designing and developing architectural solutions, working on mechanical and electrical engineering projects, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and overseeing product design. The Architectural Design Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and meet client expectations.

Job Description – Senior Architect Designer

Position Overview

The Senior Architect Designer is responsible for leading the conceptualization, development, and execution of architectural designs for high-profile projects. This role involves creative problem-solving, technical expertise, and leadership in coordinating with clients, consultants, and project teams to deliver innovative and functional architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design & Development:

Lead the conceptual and schematic design phases for complex projects.

Develop innovative, sustainable, and functional architectural solutions.

Ensure designs align with client requirements, building codes, and project feasibility.

Oversee the creation of architectural drawings, sketches, and 3D visualizations.

2. Project Coordination & Leadership:

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and consultants.

Provide design direction to junior architects and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Review and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback and technical constraints.

Ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction teams.

3. Technical Expertise & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and zoning laws.

Conduct design feasibility studies and site analysis.

Integrate sustainable design principles and innovative technologies into projects.

Oversee the preparation of construction documents and specifications.

4. Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Present design concepts, proposals, and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.

Interpret client needs and translate them into compelling architectural designs.

Address client concerns and provide expert guidance on design strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor's in Architecture.

Experience: 7+ years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3ds Max.

o Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Soft Skills:

Architectural / Interior Design Draftsman

Location: Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed architectural and interior design drawings, shop drawings, site coordination drawings and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, and site teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Act independently in organizing tasks within the given framework and report to the management
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, codes, and client specifications.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes or client feedback.
• Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.
• Assist in managing drawing logs and ensure proper submittal documentation.
• Understand the quality system of the company & adhere to it accordingly.
• Liaise & consult with other drafters, designers, construction supervisors and management.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural/interior design drafting, preferably in residential fit-outs.
• Strong knowledge of materials, detailing, and construction practices.

Lead the preparation of architectural design concepts, detailed drawings, and technical specifications

Review and validate design solutions for functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and constructability
