Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Safeguard infrastructure and assets across company zones and address client activity issues.
- Support in defining technical scope and specs for infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with government authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and update stakeholders on regulatory changes affecting infrastructure and assets.
- Review and recommend on work permit requests for safe and systematic workflow.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements, coordinate with HSE, and provide technical support to clients on land, infrastructure, and related issues.
Skills & Competencies
- MS Office proficiency
- Strong communication, teamwork & customer focus

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the construction of drainage systems, ensuring quality compliance, coordinating site activities, and facilitating timely completion of works in line with the contract requirements.""
Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site drainage construction activities including foul sewer, stormwater, manholes, and related structures.
- Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, and relevant QCS/Ashghal standards.
- Review and approve method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals related to drainage works.
- Conduct site inspections and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) where necessary.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are maintained across all drainage-related activities.
- Maintain daily progress reports, quality documentation, and photographic records of the work in progress.
- Liaise with contractors, utility engineers, and other project stakeholders to resolve site issues and ensure smooth execution.
- Attend progress, technical, and coordination meetings with the client (Ashghal) and contractors.
- Support the testing and commissioning of drainage systems including air and hydrostatic pressure tests.
- Review and verify as-built drawings and handover documentation.
- Assist the Resident Engineer in monitoring project milestones and advising on any potential delays or deviations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in infrastructure projects, with significant exposure to drainage works.
- At least 3 years of direct supervision experience on Ashghal or similar authority projects.
- Proven knowledge of QCS, Ashghal specifications, and international drainage standards.
- MMUP/UPDA certification preferred.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with project management/reporting tools.
