Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with proven leadership abilities to oversee database operations and lead a team of DBAs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable Oracle database environments while mentoring and guiding the database team to deliver excellent support and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical (Hands-On) Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle database servers (versions 12c, 19c, and beyond).
• Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, ASM, and RMAN backup/recovery strategies.
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Administer Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for proactive monitoring and alerting.
• Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
• Ensure database security through user access management, encryption, and patching.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Consultant to lead and support database migrations to the cloud and manage cloud-based DBA operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep Oracle expertise and proven experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure – OCI).
