The specialized pediatric immunology and allergy center (SPIA) in Doha is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced clinical nurse specialist (CNS) in pediatric allergy and immunology. • Deliver expert nursing care for children with allergic and immunologic conditions.
• Conduct allergy testing, skin prick test and patch testing.
• Conduct food challenges, including close monitoring of patients and recording of all vital signs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and families.
• Educate families on allergy management, including initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation.

• Master’s degree in nursing with specialization as a clinical nurse specialist or advanced practice nurse.
• Valid QCHP nursing license or eligibility to obtain one in Qatar.
• Certification in pediatric nursing / allergy and immunology preferred.
• Minimum of 03-05 years of pediatric nursing experience with at least 02 years in allergy / immunology.

• Preferred education in a Nursing Degree Diploma after High School.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Required certification / license : valid Nursing license from the country of origin.
• Proven experience as a Registered General Nurse.

The Registered Nurse will work as Health Educator who provides compassionate and empathetic guidance to help patients to manage the impact of their condition and to receive their treatment effectively. They are a qualified healthcare professional who complements the education and care provided by the patient’s own healthcare team. The role involves regular patient contact, in person and by telephone, and is responsible for building rapport and helping to address their patients’ personal challenges and needs. Facilitate successful communication between patients, physicians and third-party payers that leads to shared motivation to achieve treatment goals. Ensure continuous patient education, motivation, consultation and follow up.

• Introduce the support program to physicians and explain value to patients and physicians.
• In-clinic HCP Support, to provide administrative assistance to healthcare professionals by handling data entry and other related tasks.
• Maintain regular visits to physicians for referrals and updates.
• Administer use of device, medication or injections to the patient as needed.
• Provide patients with education on their condition, medication and self-management practices.
• Ensure patient’s understanding of condition, medication and when to seek help.
• Support patients with their pain points to ensure a seamless patient journey.
• Perform administrative duties such as collecting patient and physician consents to initiate services.
• Timely reporting of updates to physicians regarding their patients.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
