Key Roles & Responsibilities
- To carry out all type of pipe cutting jobs, all type of pipe fabrication works and ship repair works.
- Read piping isomatric, P&ID drawings, sketches and preparation of pipes with accurate measurement.
- To work independently with the instruction of Pipe section foreman, charge-hand and group leaders. Pipe fabrication involved cropping, preparation, fabrication and tack welding.
- Ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with the divisions quality assurance procedures and quality manuals
- Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines according to drawings and templates, using measuring equipment.
- Housekeeping & Safety – Ensure the workplace and worksite are kept clean and tidy, during and after completion of work. Customer premises/facilities are to be treated with respect and kept clean at all times.
- Ensure all operations/work are carried out in a safe manner; ensure fellow workers wear the correct PPE.
- Follow specified systems, processes and procedures, implemented in the workplace, to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and other requirements/standards
- To fabricate, lay out in positions, aligns to assemble piping components together to match in a drawing supplied by another party or fits in a piping system to fulfil requirements
- Practical, technical skill, good co-ordination, problem solving skills and to be able to complete detailed and accurate work.

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Superintendent (Piping & Equipment Erection) to join our team for a prestigious LNG project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale mechanical construction works, with proven leadership in piping and equipment erection activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all piping and equipment erection activities at the project site.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily and weekly execution programs in line with project timelines.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work procedures.
- Ensure proper allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials to meet site progress targets.
- Monitor workfront availability, resolve site issues, and ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate closely with QA/QC, HSE, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
