**PLASTIC SURGEY DOCTOR**
We are searching for a skilled plastic surgeon to join our surgical team. As a plastic surgeon, your responsibilities will include consulting with patients prior to surgery, advising them on the best surgical options and associated risks, and performing surgeries and patient follow-ups. You should be able to communicate with patients of varying ages, work long hours, and remain professional at all times.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**>Bachelors degree or equivalent**
- At least 5+ years of experience in the same field
- Must have DATAFLOW PROMETRIC
- Residing in Qatar with valid QID and NOC
- Ready to join immediately
**Salary**: QAR30,000.00 - QAR35,000.00 per month

Job Description
**Duties and Responsibilities.**
- A plastic surgeon will deal with a variety of cases, in which the patient may have obvious signs of discomfort or no signs at all.
- Plastic surgery is an area in which innovation is encouraged.
- Diagnose patient conditions and recommend the necessary treatment.
- Discuss surgical methods in order to put the patient at ease.
- Work with a team of medical professionals, including dermatologists and oncologists.
- Typically work the nine to five but may also need to be on call for any emergencies.
- Collate analyses and update patient records to make sure they receive the best treatment.
- Decide upon the best course of action to treat patients based on physical examinations and other medical tests.
- Work in stressful settings where one mistake can have a major impact.
- Book operation theatres and ensure medical staffs are in place to assist.
- Make sure hygiene is maintained.
- Build and maintain an excellent level of rapport with patients to put them at ease.
- The plastic surgeon has to interact with the patient and understand the underlying medical condition and design an appropriate treatment plan. A thorough analysis of the patient is required to determine the pre-existing health conditions and various surgical risk factors.
- A plastic surgeon is responsible for pre-operative and post-operative patient care and also performs various reconstructive surgeries to change the shape, size and appearance of the body parts.
- A plastic surgeon needs to have an eye for details, high level of precision and ability to perform a wide range of reconstructive surgeries
- Perform invasive surgeries to correct physical deformities in patients
- Administer non-surgical treatment to enhance outward beauty
- Synthesize skin grafts from Integra or obtain them from recipient/donor
- Carry out pediatric plastic surgery to treat congenital defects such as cleft palate and polydactyl in children
- Perform microsurgery to transfer tissues to reconstruction sites (head/hand) where they are missing
- Examine and diagnose patients to identify an abnormality and determine suitable course of treatment
- Ensure compliance with establishing surgical techniques during plastic surgery
- Direct and coordinate the activities of nurses, assistants and residents
- Examine operating room and medical instruments to ensure they are clean and sterile
- Confer with other plastic surgeons and medical professionals to exchange ideas
- Use photographs and verbal descriptions to identify patients’ visual expectations and set a reference point
- Inject patients with Botox to reduce muscle activity and temporarily lessen appearance of facial wrinkles
- Educate patients on the risks associated with a procedure as well as proffer recommendations on post-operative requirements
- Follow up on patients after surgery to track their healing process and personal adjustment to treatment
- Install prosthetic devices on patients to allow for restoration of appearance.

- Receive continuing education, read medical manuals, and attend conferences.
- Perform exams to assess the patient’s deformity, illness, or otherwise affected area.
- Treat patients in need of reconstructive, cosmetic and corrective surgeries.
- Operate on patients who desire to augment/beautify various body parts.
- Schedule patients for and perform non-invasive procedures (e.g. Botox injections, chemical peels, or hair implants).
