Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Irrigation Plumber to join our team at our agricultural farm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing work within an agricultural setting, and be adept at handling all related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our farm's irrigation systems.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including general plumbing work.
- Handle plumbing tasks for greenhouses, glasshouses, nethouses, hydroponics, and open fields.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Work with a variety of agricultural plumbing components and products.
- Ensure all plumbing installations and repairs are compliant with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with the farm's electrical team to ensure seamless integration of plumbing and electrical systems.
- Maintain records of work performed and report any major issues to farm management.
- Provide support for any additional plumbing needs as they arise on the farm.
- Diploma in Plumbing or related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrician on an agricultural farm with extensive knowledge of agricultural plumbing.
- Strong understanding of the products and components used in agricultural plumbing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience with hydroponics systems and related plumbing work.
- Familiarity with greenhouse plumbing and maintenance.
- Knowledge of sustainable irrigation practices.
