Responsibilities

• Manage process engineering services to meet Worley's, its clients', and regulatory standards, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Oversee process engineering project requirements.
• Participate in meetings, prepare progress reports, ensure compliance with checking procedures, manage project scope and changes, and provide advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Act as the process engineering lead on designated projects.
• If leading a team: define project requirements, promote workshare, assign tasks, supervise progress, and ensure service quality and compliance.
• Proactively resolve discrepancies between Worley and client requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and innovations in process engineering.
• Support junior team members as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, including clients.
• Identify and resolve issues, develop solutions, and seek assistance when necessary.

Quality Assurance

Adhere to Quality Assurance systems and guidelines.

Safety

Prioritize personal safety and adhere to Occupational Health & Safety procedures. Implement HSE principles in the design process, focusing on process safety and best practices.

Technical and Industry Experience

• Strong technical and practical engineering skills with a track record of delivering quality work.
• Deep understanding of process engineering fundamentals and related engineering fields.
• Knowledge of local and international standards and regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and process engineering software.
• Extensive experience in process engineering within similar industries, including multidisciplinary projects.

Experience with PDH (Propane Dehydrogenation), licensor units, and process knowledge of SHP (Selective Hydrogenation Process) and OCP (Olefins Cracking Process Unit).

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

• Recognized engineering degree.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
• Postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management, or supervisory fields.

Responsibilities

• Manage process engineering services that meet Worley', its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
• Manage process engineering project requirements.
• Manage process engineering services such as:
  • participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures;
  • ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes;
  • provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase order preparation.
• Act as theprocess engineering Lead on specific projects.
• If responsible for a team:
  • outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress; and
  • ensure the required services meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
• Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its Customer's requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in process engineering.
• If required, assist and support junior personnel within the process engineering team.
• Communicate effectively with the process engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
• Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.

Quality Assurance

Work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.

Safety

Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures. Competent in implementing HSE in the design process, focuses on process safety and strives to use best practice

Technical and Industry Experience

• Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its clients.
• Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
• Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
• Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and process engineering specific software.
• Extensive technical and practical experience in process engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
