Wood has an opportunity for a Principal Piping Engineer to join our team in Qatar on a staff basis. This is a key role in the Piping & Plant Layout Group, where you will have the opportunity to be hands-on in supporting the group's objectives across EPC, PMC, FEED, Pre-FEED, Concept and Feasibility scopes of work in the region. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including Wood and / or Project Procedures for Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost and project schedule targets. Primary Purpose of the Job

Lead and undertake Reservoir Engineering studies of the QatarEnergy operated Dukhan oilfield to optimize field development plans, support simulation model maintenance, analyze reservoir and well performance data, develop reservoir surveillance programs and conduct reservoir management activities, including supporting planning and activity on CO2 WAG pilot. Prepare detailed/integrated development plans for underdeveloped hydrocarbon resources and participate in interdisciplinary reservoir study teams. Principal Accountabilities

Lead the construction, and model history match to assess CO2 WAG EOR performance. Help develop and deliver optimized mid / long term strategic and tactical plans for the Operated Onshore field Assets. Perform the annual review of reserves, generate long-term production/injection forecasts for Asset Planning, Business Planning and drilling/workover schedule. Plan and supervise the acquisition (and perform analysis/interpretation) of Reservoir Engineering data from new and replacement wells for updating dynamic reservoir simulation models and determining optimum development plans and drilling targets. Ensure all data and analysis is input into integrated reservoir/field development studies. Maintain, develop and run 3D multiphase black oil / compositional dynamic reservoir models for mathematical simulation of reservoirs and field development planning.
