Airswift is seeking a Process Engineering Lead for our client in Qatar .
Job Purpose
- Leads the process engineering activities for the assigned project (greenfield and brownfield).
- Provides Process Engineering guidance and leadership to the Compression project EPC(s) PMT and CONTRACTOR(s) for fieldwork within the assigned area.
- Advises the Head of Process and supports the Compression EPC(s) project(s) in all Process Engineering matters. Must be flexible and team-oriented.
- Supports PMT Engineering in monitoring the Contractor's progress on process engineering deliverables.
- Provides leadership in process engineering, supervises and reviews EPC contractor deliverables, simulations, calculations, and reports.
- Performs process studies, calculations, simulations, and develops Basis of Design, technical notes, and assessments.
- Plans and schedules process engineering deliverables for efficient project execution.
- Coordinates with Engineering Teams and aligns with the Engineering Manager on project needs.
- Leads or participates in design workshops and ensures proper implementation of process design recommendations.
- Coordinates with Subject Matter Experts and endorses process technical deviations as required.
- Has a general understanding of multidisciplinary engineering and works closely with related teams.
- Captures lessons learned from previous projects and communicates them effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or process engineering.
- At least 8 years of oil and gas process engineering experience.
- Extensive knowledge of offshore project engineering, standards, and safety criteria.
- Experience with Tier-1 EPC contractors and offshore platform projects (greenfield and brownfield).
