Overview
Process Engineering Specialist - (LNG, SRU, IR, UTL & Helium 4)
Job PurposeAdvise and support Process Engineering related activities during EPC and Startup phase until handover to permanent Asset whilst ensuring project deliverables meet Operations expectations in term of Safety, Operability, Reliability and Maintainability over the facility design life cycle.
Responsibilities- Actively participate and provide process engineering supports to RCFA, Hazop, FRA, Hazid, SIL verification and process safety and reliability issues.
- Support development of Standard Operating Procedures required for the new projects.
- Develop and implement process surveillance tools for Operations assets in compliance with surveillance plan to ensure safe, reliable and optimum production, including troubleshooting, engineering recommendations and timely escalation of threats and deviations from surveillance monitoring.
- Active participation in System Completions processes for Walk-down prior to commissioning and startup (eg, witness of chemical/catalysts loading, etc).
- Maintain Issue Register identifying and resolving critical issues including new technology risks (under area of responsibility) which could impact new project Reliability, Availability and Cyber Security.
- Provide technical input related to area of expertise to other disciplines and functions as per requirements to support overall business objectives.
- Support and facilitate smooth completion of project tie-in requirements for all systems under the area of responsibility.

- Advises the Head of Process and supports the various Compression project(s) in all Process Engineering discipline related matters. Shall be flexible and team-orientated.
- Supports PMT Engineering in monitoring the Contractor s progress on delivery of the required documents in the Process Engineering disciplines.

- Review and approval of contractor engineering deliverables / simulations / calculations, study reports and etc.

- Leads/Participates in key design workshop and ensure that Process design recommendations are correctly implemented and actions closed (Design Review, Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts with respect to the disciplines involved in delivery of the Process Engineering and ensures endorsement of Process Technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
- General understanding of multi discipline engineering (mechanical/piping/ instrumentation /etc.) and ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Accountable for being knowledgeable of lessons learned from previous projects with the same contractor and capturing and communicating Process engineering and design lessons learned for the current project.
- Bachelor s Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years oil and gas process engineering work experience five.
