As the
New Technology Product Development Specialist , you will be responsible for evaluating & testing new technology solutions pertaining to In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC). You will also be responsible for ideating & supporting the integration of digital solutions, applications, games, and other interactive elements within the airline ecosystem, from concept to deployment, ensuring seamless integration across various IFE systems and effective coordination among various stakeholders.
Some Of The Tasks Include The Following
Work closely with stakeholders in evaluating emerging IFEC technologies, platforms, and solutions to enhance the In-flight digital entertainment offerings. Translate the requirements into technical specifications, design and business/scope requirements Oversee the development/implementation process of digital solutions, including scoping, planning, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of the application. Ensuring compliance with safety, security, privacy, and other regulatory requirements are met. Organize sessions to establish UX, UI, back-end deliverables, ensuring delivery is in line with standards and expectations. Collaborate with other stakeholders from various business departments to ensure cross-project dependencies are managed effectively by identifying risks, issues and technical challenges. Proactively work with other business units within Finance, IT, Procurement and relevant business units to resolve impediments. Work with the Manager &aposFEC Product Integration in defining business strategic direction on digital solutions, recommend and discuss innovations and tactics that promotes the business revenue and product portfolio, including e-commerce packages and other value-added components. Perform other department related duties as directed by Line Manager or Head of Department.
