We are seeking a talented Senior Project Finance Analyst to join our team and support the financial structuring and execution of project financing. This role focuses on debt and equity transactions for key initiatives and involves financial modeling, risk analysis, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to secure optimal financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support financial analysis, modeling, and structuring of debt and equity transactions for key projects.
• Manage project financing, including debt issuance, restructuring, syndicated loans, and DCM transactions.
• Analyze and manage financial risks related to project financing, including interest rate, compliance, currency, and liquidity risks. Recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Develop cash flow models and forecasts for long-term financing needs associated with capital-intensive projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., senior management, project teams) and external parties (e.g., banks, financial institutions) to assess financing options and secure project funding.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support due diligence efforts by assessing the financial health and viability of proposed financing structures.
• Ensure adherence to the organization's financial policies, governance frameworks, and legal/regulatory compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline project financing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Stay updated on market trends, financial instruments, and financing strategies relevant to project financing.

Qualifications:

• Up-to-date knowledge of market trends, financial instruments, and best practices in project financing.
• Strong understanding of debt and equity financing, including debt restructuring and capital market transactions.
• Expertise in identifying and mitigating financial risks, including interest rate, compliance, currency, and liquidity risks.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, analysis, and decision support.
• ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or an MBA

Primary Purpose of the Job:

Conduct economic evaluation and prioritization of projects executed in VP Directorate by comparing their costs and benefits and carrying out scenario and sensitivity analysis. This is to demonstrate the economic viability of different options, which are used as one of the criteria to support management in making investment decisions that are vital to the short term and long-term economic interests of QP and the State of Qatar.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 12 years relevant working experience in oil and gas projects, economics modelling, project economics evaluation, feasibility study appraisal, business negotiation and/or marketing.
• Working knowledge of onshore and offshore oil and gas operations is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, economics /financial modelling and statistical analysis / data management skills.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, presentation and computing skills.
• Foster teamwork, train developees and coach staff.
• Good command of English language (verbal and written).

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Engineering & Economics/Finance or Bachelor degree in Economics from an accredited university. Related postgraduate qualification (MSc. or MBA) is advantageous.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a bilingual
IT Business Analyst
who can effectively bridge communication between technical teams and Arabic-speaking business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, and support the successful design and delivery of digital and IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:1. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Engage with Arabic and English-speaking stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements validation sessions.
• Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Use Case Diagrams.

2. Process Mapping & Solution Design

• Analyze existing workflows, identify process inefficiencies, and recommend automation or digital transformation opportunities.
• Collaborate with development teams to define user stories, data flows, and system integrations.
• Participate in solution design discussions ensuring alignment with technical feasibility and business goals.

3. Communication & Documentation

• Act as a liaison between business users, IT, and vendors—ensuring effective communication in both Arabic and English.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly terms for Arabic-speaking management.
• Prepare bilingual documentation, reports, and user manuals where required.

4. Project Support & Implementation

• Support project planning, testing, and deployment activities.
• Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and gather stakeholder feedback.
• Track project deliverables, timelines, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

5. Data & System Analysis

• Work closely with database and system teams to ensure accurate data mapping and integration between applications.
• Assist in data migration, reporting, and analytics requirements.
• Support KPI tracking and dashboard/reporting initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Master's degree or certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.

Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Proven experience in requirements management, process analysis, and documentation.
• Exposure to government, telecom, or enterprise IT environments in the GCC preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Familiar with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, Figma, or Power BI.
• Understanding of APIs, databases (SQL), and basic system architecture.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, or web application projects is a plus.
