Job Description
As the Project Programmer , you assist the Requirements and Optimization (R&O) team in using inspection and estimate data to program new engineering projects. Have strong technical background on civil construction projects, infrastructure and master planning. Ability to communicate between various stakeholders and ensure project requirements are adequately captured. Will utilize RSMeans software to estimate project costs, and TRIRIGA to organize and coordinate work orders.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Use work orders, inspection data and asset management tools to program projects for various engineering project.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, different bed down agencies and squadrons to ensure future project cover their requirements.
- Work closely with the Community Planner and Flight Commander to build out Integrated Priority Lists as well as assist on work order management.

- Coordinate work with Airfield Management to ensure all runway and taxiway projects are phased according to flying requirements and future work.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- B.S. in Engineering, Architecture, Master Planning or Construction Management
- Minimum of seven (7) years' experience, supporting base Engineering operations.
- Knowledge of principles of engineering, planning, project programming, and ability to interpret plans and drawings.
- Experience in management and supervision of an engineering, maintenance and inspection staff.
LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Position requires good leadership and motivational skills, solid technical background, good organizational skills, attention to detail, quality control, client interaction and representation.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
