Qualification and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry with at least five years demonstrated as Project Management on EPCI Projects involving leadership skills, risk and schedule management, internal and external interfaces under challenging project delivery schedule.
- Experience in managing project risks and critical interfaces.
- Good Engineering Practice applicable to the Oil and Gas industry.
- Familiar with International Codes and Standards.
- The project delivery lead position requires solid technical and organizational experience with respect to multi discipline, and with the ability to solve problem, to identify the risks and to propose mitigations measures.
Technical and Business Skills
- A high-level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications such as Power BI.
- Excellent Organization, Planning, Execution & Tracking Skills
- Excellent communication / written skills and ability to work with different disciplines and people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- High awareness of working practices associated with risk assessments, multi-discipline coordination and design reviews.
Job Purpose
- Provide project management support, execution and technical assistance to the Compression Head of project engineering & Project Manager by ensuring flawless coordination and communication within the Compression leadership team and Manage project internal interfaces between disciplines and scope of work.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Providing full support to the Compression Head of project engineering & Project Manager, including delegation of tasks and actions.
- Ensure full implementation of the Project requirements and control of project deliverables in terms of engineering, HSE, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, Project Schedule; verify compliance to the applicable regulations and Company internal Procedures.
- Champion coordination between the project disciplines including Business, HSE, Quality, Interface, and Planning team.
- Responsible to develop, maintain and regularly update the project risk register. Anticipate all risks and issues identified on project schedule, initiate appropriate preventive and corrective actions, and steward the resolution in close collaboration with EPC Contractor and Project team. - Active participation to the project critical path review committee consolidating all necessary input and proposing mitigation measures to the Project management team.
- Responsible to identify and monitor critical interfaces with other COMP's project and Operation, propose and follow up mitigations' measures. Identify and propose plan to resolve schedule execution clashes with other EPC Contractor for the benefice of the project investment program.
- Ensure Integration in communication and planning across multiple sites between Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication in Karimun and Qatar Yards, Systems Completions & Hand over to OESS.
